In other news, I looked at the imo messenger at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imo.android.imoim and it was the first time I really read a Privacy Policy at https://imo.im/privacy and I feel like I shouldn't really care but I read it anyways.

Nyeh, looks nice. I think I'll give it a try.

Damn it there isn't a proper dark theme...

My sgs is slowly dying and i dont want to be without a smartphone
I just got a Galaxy S3 and rooted it, but am having a hard time finding information on what to do once it's rooted. I'm primarily interested in removing all of the shitty built-in apps that Verizon/Samsung put on it, but every Google search turns up results for "Removing Built-In Apps Without Rooting" and they all end up just disabling the app, not removing it.
Also is there a good place to general cool stuff to do once your phone is rooted? I feel pretty undirected at the moment.

Install Titanium Backup and use it to remove the apps. Make sure you don't remove anything important though. I'm sure there's a debloat guide somewhere on XDA for the S3.
Also, for rooted things you could do, get AdAway. It does what it says it does.
If you like gestures, you can also try LMT launcher. It adds in a system-wide navigation pie similar to the quick controls in the browser.
With root you can block ads, overclock/underclock the CPU, display what fps rating you're getting in games/apps, hack games, do admin stuff like turn off apps that start at boot making booting up the phone faster, you can put antitheft app onto your phone in such a way that it's much harder to remove, screenshots and screen capture in video format, view disk usage on internal storage, move apps onto the sd if it wasn't enabled by the developer, dim your screen below the lowest in the stock settings, and back up everything. Oh and flash new ROMs such as CM.
I want the five finger pinch home gesture like on the Ipad on my Tf300t. How would I go about doing this? (Stock Asus JB.)

According to reddit, this thing is able to do it:

(full https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodmooddroid.gesturecontrol )

Also, people with SPen phones and tablets:

Yeah that thing's awesome. I got rid of the button bar on my N7 altogether.
Any way to do it without rooting? I guess I could, but I just can't be bothered at the moment.

Thanks for telling me about Go Launcher EX, Gary. I'm fucking love it so far!
Only problem is that I've run out of memory to install my apps, anyone know a thing or two about partitioning and what to use?
Artifacts up the wazoo

Buy the companies and change their policies?
what, when?
First 99c sale, the servers got bogged down and some purchases went weird/didn't go through and Google later reimbursed the costs. I got 3-4 apps for free.
How?
CyanogenMod 10 lets you do that. Settings->System->Navigation bar->Software buttons.

It lets me change it, but not disable it
Whaat
Hmm. Maybe it's only in ParanoidAndroid ROM?
[editline]14th January 2013[/editline]
if you do end up installing it use the 2.54 version, it's the last 4.1 based one, the 4.2 one is a bit buggy.
Anyone curious in Xperia Z's camera,
