Anyone know if there's a way to switch to a custom android rom on the kobo vox e-reader? Someone gave one to us, and it's not that bad to use but the version of Android on it is a mess and full of bloatware. I've found a few threads of people talking about it but no actual guides on how to swap it out for something better.
still better than imageshack, etc
Puush
Ok... So I need a way to put multiple folders that the system has made together. Like, I have 3 different "downloads" folders, a couple "saved images" folders, etc, and each of them makes a separate album in the gallery. I have to search through all kinds of shit to get to a single image I want.
Use a file manager?
so half of my purchased games won't work on my tablet when i'm offline guess what i have to do to make them work now :/
capture packets when online and push them when offline. I have no idea what I'm talking about. [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] Also what's wrong with imgur?
Anyone know of a good download manager?
What's a good PDF reader? I've been using Adobe Reader and it's such a piece of shit.
oh shit guys, Unified Remote is much better than PC Monitor. I managed to setup it through my external ip address so now I can turn on my PC from anywhere and stream with Plex server. The mouse and keyboard over Wi-Fi is pretty neat.

I use ShareX and Dropbox for my hosting needs. I only get bandwidth warnings on Dropbox when iI do stupid things like host video or something.
I use ShareX and Dropbox for my hosting needs. i hosted a WebM on my Dropbox for General Ingame Media once Dropbox told me never to try that shit again
I usually just crop and upload stuff to my VPS manually more often than not I just use horobox or imgkk though

I will get 50GB for Dropbox if I log into my friends latest Galaxy phones. Sign up with this http://min.us/r3HskXP
Perfect wallpaper position. [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Screenshot_2013-01-13-20-00-46.png[/thumb] Haven't customized much yet. Are there any website with ROM galleries or something? Someplace where I can compare/contrast the different options.
Go with a simple ROM like CM or ParanoidAndroid and customize it yourself, it will be far better.

i don't even have a phone right now :v:
Installed the latest CM 10.1 nightly on both my GNexus and Nexus 7. Turns out Apollo broke Play Music on both. Leave Play Music and the UI has no fucking clue there is a song playing. Uninstalling Apollo fixes it. Bizarre. Have no idea why that would happen.

You can also resize it by just changing a number in the URL, no external editing needed.
also for the minus dudes they are really really lax about self-referring took me about 45minutes, got 50 gigs
I feel like this is a common question, but I checked the OP and such and didn't see anything. Here goes: I want to replace my old iPod touch with an Android Device. When I get a max of 60MB of memory at any given time and worry about Jailbreaking, I decided to take a switch. I will not be using any phone functions, but still want to be able to browse the web on wifi and run decent programs. Main uses will probably be reading Facepunch, Reddit, and 4chan, and maybe watching video or listening to music. I would pretty much need it to have SD expansion, too. I would be willing to spend up to $350 or so. Help would be appreciated! [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] Oh, and I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy Play 5 right now. Any problems I should be aware of before I would buy it?

Also you might want to check out the Sony Walkman F $299, but unfortunately has no sd slot, however it has 32 gb of space.
Ooh, yay, a screenshot page :) [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/JVP3D.png[/thumb] Also, Ezhik, what have you been doing in your free time?
EXYNOS 5 OCTA USES A SGX544MP3, WHAT IS THIS?!?!! http://www.anandtech.com/show/6654/samsungs-exynos-5-octa-powered-by-powervr-sgx-544mp3-not-arms-mali
For anyone with a Nexus 4 who really wants to improve their display, the faux kernel and his app have a solution. Some people got phones with a high color temperature and some got ones with a low temperature, but either way, someone on XDA started a thread and a spreadsheet for sharing calibrations. Here's the app: Faux kernel thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2008222 Calibrations thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039607 Calibrations doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoDp2qRui0u0dGE4T2gtSDBTRHVFSldPS2RrX1Rya0E Mine was a bit blue so I applied an average of the two sets of values by user "idividebyzero" and I was actually stunned by how much better it looked. Colors are more balanced and a LOT more saturated, no more "washed out" look at all.
Does it require root?
