IMO the main problem is Google, who extremely underestimated the demand. LG is making as many devices as they were required to by the contract.
I just hope that Google adjusted for this and ordered more devices (if LG has capacity), but as days go by I'm starting to doubt it.

I personally think that thing is extremely useless and overpriced as a camera. The battery life is also poor because of the excess power used by the hardware.

That still doesn't excuse waiting for an update for about 7 months.

Plus, recently Samsung was acting all dev-friendly and promising sourcecode and whatnot. I'm pretty sure the update has to be pretty much finished by now, and they're just making sure [del]everything[/del] most of the things work. So why not push at least some code for the devs to use already? [I]Some[/I] of it has to be ready to go.

There aren't that many at the minute, you can get a cheap TPU case until one you like comes out, the only ones worth looking at are the Poetic borderline bumper case or Poetic Atmosphere. Keep in mind the cases ruin the very smooth scrolling of the N4 horizontally as it blocks the edge of the display.

The only way to protect the back of the phone (it isn't Gorilla glass) from scratches is to use a screen protector, Skinomi do the best N4 'techskin' at the minute.

Rearth Ringke SLIM also seems to be liked by N4 owners. I have one and I don't even have the phone yet :suicide: But it feels great in my hand and the materials seem to be solid enough as well.

Oh yes forgot about the Rearths, they feel good but they hide that attractive back and don't offer that much protection. I prefer the bumper (official Google/LG or Poetic).
