Your phone has a 1GHz CPU and 512MB, it's not that much of a potato. However the screen is pretty shit.
I forgot who started saying my phone was a potato, I believe it was Ezhik
I forgot who started saying my phone was a potato, I believe it was Ezhik
he's the guy who bitches about android 24/7 right?
he's the guy who bitches about android 24/7 right?
He's the guy who is in Russia, who is indeed a hedgehog, who currently has a Nexus 7, praised the Samsung Galaxy Note 1 for being amazing before he got his sweaty hands on it, then raged on how much it lagged, sold it and got a Windows 7 Phone, sold it and is waiting to get a Note 2, which is so much better. And yes, he's the guy who bitches about Android among other things.
he's the guy who bitches about android 24/7 right?
There's several of those.
I forgot who started saying my phone was a potato, I believe it was Ezhik
But your phone is a potato to today's standards
There's several of those.
It's basically all of /r/android.
I've been browsing FP on my small potato for over a year, for christ sake FP needs a motherfucking mobile site that's official and working
I have routinely browsed and posted on FP for years on both my phone and tablet and have never had any issues.
the FP app hasn't updated for me
Why are you calling phones with decent specs potatoes? I have a fucking HTC Wildfire with fucking SQUARES instead of pixels, the slowest cpu on the entire fucking universe, a puny amount of ram that gets filled just by turning the phone on and NO GRAPHICS ACCELERATION. When i get a call, the answer slider LAG. It struggles reading my e-mails. Sometimes the status bar will keep wobbling up and down with no good reason, So don't talk about potatoes like spoiled brats, because my potato is way worse than yours. Also, i can't afford something at least decent. Fuck.
wat but the lag maybe if you have a big enough phone that's fast enough then no but still, the lag
lag?
I have a fucking HTC Wildfire
You have full permission to call your phone a potato.
he's the guy who bitches about android 24/7 right?
amnd you bitch abiout horses [editline]17th January 2013[/editline]
I forgot who started saying my phone was a potato, I believe it was Ezhik
no [editline]17th January 2013[/editline]
It's basically all of /r/android.
r android has an android fetish

Got a Nexus 7 for Christmas, and it has gotten constant use. It's my first Android device, and it's better than anything else I have used, and I finally rooted. What do custom roms do, and are they hard to install?/worth it?

Cyanogenmod and AOKP are two good ROMs that build upon stock Android. It's like comparing Windows Home edition with Professional in terms of features however they are community driven. Basically if you are happy with what you have now, leave it as it is and save yourself the trouble. If you are too curious and savvy to leave it then head over to XDA Forums Nexus 7 section and see what you like.
Can anyone help? Sony Xperia U, downloaded the software and it said there is an update available, however, it says my battery should be at least 50% before I attempt to update it which it is. It says hold volume down when plugging in the USB which I'm doing but it just puts my phone on charge? so do I need to wait for my phone to be charge or what? Also Windows keeps saying the device malfunctioned when I try :s
I got a moga for ten bucks. Traded in a 40 dollar case when Tmobile was having a buy 2 get 1 free sale.
SwiftKey is retarded when I use the shift and alt keys on my slide out keyboard.
I miss having a slide out keyboard, since I have a nexus 4 now. Oh well. At least I can play games now.
I forgot who started saying my phone was a potato, I believe it was Ezhik
might've been me
Oh man, I can't have my old phone number, which I had for 10 years, on my new phone, because my provider won't port it as I don't have the data of my stepfather who activated the old Sim with his data. Since he isn't "available" anymore, to put it nicely, I don't have his data.
do they just need his SSN? ask your mom, she'd probably have it in a filing cabinet somewhere [editline]17th January 2013[/editline] or at least she should

Is Paranoid Android open source yet or are they still being dicks about that
