At least you wake up I guess! :v:
I like how iP5 looks, but I couldn't ever force myself to use the OS. No ability to switch default apps, no intents, plus my life is tied to Google services.
Google owns you!
Google owns you!
That's the entire point of them keeping Android alive, it's not like they make any money directly from it(especially now that Moto Mobility's losses are their losses). But they've got your data, and they get it through all of their services. That's what Google's all about from a revenue standpoint.

The services are great and work well with each other. I like Google.
Google owns you!
I am Google's whore and I'm proud of it.
Google is my baby daddy
I don't mind being owned by google, it's not fucking me up the ass like Apple would Also I have a Nokua Lumia 610 kindly donated for free (!) from my grandad who said he didn't need it anymore, to replace my broken HTC desire Z I'm really enjoying windows mobile 7.5 right now, it's really smooth on such an underpowered phone, but the facebook and twitter app are kind of slow on it, and there is no official youtube app but there is a REALLY good third party one called "MetroTube"
I did the exact same thing. I installed a ROM not knowing it was CM based, set mt alarm and went to bed. 6:30 in the morning is a really bad time to have the living shit scared out of you.
It's fantastic as an alarm since you WILL wake up but I'd rather not shit the bed
Apple Pippin
Someone remembered that bomb?
You guys all just hate on apple because you cant afford their quality products. We all know apple is much more superior in every way conceivable.
My phone cost exactly the same as an iPhone 4S would have, I was on a plan but the hardware payments were the same. I did buy the nexus 7 mostly because it was cheap, but it is good for the price and I didn't have enough use for a tablet to warrant buying an expensive one, unlike my phone.
So are there any nexus 7 cases out that take advantage of the magnetic sleep/wake function built into the device
This thing could not be locking up anymore than it is atm. Hnnng this is painful to browse with.
Nope. I've recorded noticeable performance gains on stock ROMs by killing off background processes because Android doesn't leave enough RAM left for the OS to run properly. If it gets below a certain threshold it starts to stutter really bad, usually occuring on devices with 512MB or lower RAM. Even occurs on devices just using stock apps. Dianne Hackborn is also not somebody to be trusted regarding performance whatsoever. Here's a statement from her brilliant mind about performance on the Nexus S. https://plus.google.com/105051985738280261832/posts/2FXDCz8x93s Absolutely ridiculous. The Nexus S struggles to perform any sort of scrolling fluidly, even lists of text. I used it for hours when it launched, and I own the Galaxy S which suffers from the same issues even when running AOSP ROMs. This is a Google engineer who is incapable of noticing blatant issues with device smoothness, somebody who would never be hired on the Windows Phone or iOS software teams.
yo as a nexus s owner its pretty smooth i mean its not perfect and its not really 60 fps but its a good like 30-45 which is pretty much quadruple the framerate that all of the old single core phones got [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
You guys all just hate on apple because you cant afford their quality products. google play music
Wish we got google play music in Australia..
This thing could not be locking up anymore than it is atm. Hnnng this is painful to browse with.
What are you even using?
Wish we got google play music in Australia..
Log in using an American proxy, go to the music section, press accept, done. Works for and I'm in Canada. Although I haven't uploaded any music yet...
Wait, you don't have to use a proxy every time? [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] I'm kind of doubtful but I'll try it when I get home.
Wait, you don't have to use a proxy every time?
No just the first setup, after that it doesn't care. Done it too in Australia.

One X's JB update has been leaked, release imminent.
One X's JB update has been leaked, release imminent.
Time to laugh

[editline]3rd October 2012[/editline] Also it's been released OTA to people in HTC's RC test program, so we're only a few builds (or no builds) away from having a finished JB build. First reports claim it's smoother.
I haven't seen many country restrictions this lacking, usually companies go all out to prevent people from other countries use services they aren't supposed to. Should have seen how much trouble I went through trying to buy the game Syndicate which is 18+ and therefore banned in Australia because the government is slow as fuck, ended up getting a physical copy shipped from New Zealand.
I'm excited, gonna order the Samsung S3 tonight. For those who have it, I guess it can be rooted easily like S2 or is it a whole other story?
I just picked up a nexus 7 because i'm going on holiday in a few weeks and I couldn't resist free next day delivery and all the goodies it comes with. It's been a while since I bothered to look for any time wasting applications because i'm usually trying to conserve battery on my Galaxy S. Is there any apps/games people would recommend to pass the time on the plane etc? It doesn't matter if they cost because, as you all know it comes with £15 play store credit.
Might as well go for the Galaxy Note II maybe?
