Are there any launchers that support vertical scrolling? I want five home screens arranged in a plus sign pattern
Latitude keeps switching between my exact precise location and the radio tower from a nearby village when I'm at home.
Thanks to this, Google believes that I've travelled 50% of the distance to the moon.
I went to Ottawa for a trip, apparently I teleported from Toronto to Ottawa in a straight line, even though I was using the GPS with Maps the entire time.

I thought GoLauncher did?
Does anyone know if there's an app that directly syncs the clipboard between Android and PC? Because I really feel like making it.
Has anybody actually bought a phone from AndroidForCheap.com where they sell unbranded mocks of popular phones, same spec and whatever (mostly) but without "SAMSUNG" written on them or w/e
I'm looking for a new phone and yeah, they seem cheap

I don't think so. AirDroid does clipboard sharing, but you still have to manually tell it to overwrite, which is good because otherwise it's a destructive operation.
In AirDroid, to go from PC to mobile, you paste into the desktop web-app, then click "save" to send it to the device. To go from mobile to PC, you press "refresh" in the desktop web-app, then manually copy from the box. (So you have to do two operations on the PC, but none on the actual device. Which is pretty good.)
do it overv
do it overv
Yeah, it's good practice anyway. I always defeat myself by saying "somebody's probably done it already".
Apparently there's ClipSync, but it only works on LAN and doesn't have any security built in (anyone could connect to your Windows server). Did anyone say weekend project?

AirDroid works on WiFi LAN and WiFi hotspot from your device. And it has great security. But it doesn't auto-sync and it's too full-featured for just syncing clipboard.

Google Chrome to Phone used to do it (obvs on Chrome) but they removed that feature and instead it just sends the webpage, not the clipboard

Thanks. Does it support horizontal and vertical at the same time? I'm reading the descriptions for Go, Apex, and Nova, and they're not clear as to whether it's a toggle or whether you can do both.
Nova supports both.

I just got a HTC One S. What do you guys think of my panels :v:
You have nothing on them. Why.
Airdroid is pretty good so far, now only if I can remote access my phone like Airdroid anywhere.
You have nothing on them. Why.
the default widgets are ugly and of limited use to me
what should I add
I don't have anything but a single home screen, with a clock, and 6 apps I regularly use, I don't see the need for millions of widgets
I don't have anything but a single home screen, with a clock, and 6 apps I regularly use, I don't see the need for millions of widgets
if I delete all my other panels, when I restart my phone I get them all back and my homescreen changes to a blank one. so yeah.
I'm using GoLauncher EX so that's probably why
HTC Sense looks like a fisher price my first phone with its gaudy colors and shiny bars and stuff, I hate it, it makes the phone look so cheap, and it runs like shit on my phone
the new sense looks nice but thats unavailable to me :v:

Those specs are absolutely horrible. It has a 16bit display!

It's cheap because it's shit.
And it's nowhere near "same spec". This has a 1GHz CPU, 256k colour screen and only 256MB ROM. Good luck installing any applications on it.

It's close for the price, yeah it's shit but I was looking at a note clone with allright specs, that just happened to be the first phone link I grabbed :v:
I read after posting and the display is shit, and I don't mean that exact phone, it was an example, and a bad one at that

Plus it fucking beats my half working HTC desire Z

You'll probably reconsider that once you have that knock-off in your hands.
Think about this, you'll have a knockoff of a Samsung. How many nightmares do you think you'll have when a phone has compromises compared to SAMSUNG'S build quality.

Samsung's build quality isn't THAT bad, I've had no problems with my SGS2 despite people saying it's 'bad'
what even equates to bad, it's not like the material even makes THAT much difference, or if it does to you, perhaps you should reconsider your priorities
You'll probably reconsider that once you have that knock-off in your hands.
Well seeing as only half of my screen functions and it turns off every time I nudge it, i'll probably be happy I can actually use it as a phone
[editline]5th October 2012[/editline]
Wellllllllpppp the only other thing I was looking at for cheap was that GooPhone y5
I seriousy want a galaxy note because I browse the web and stuff all the time (or at least try to, you try and pinch-to-zoom when half your screen doesn't work)
I still don't see what do people complain about when it comes to Samsung's build quality. My only gripe (ok it's kindof a big one, but still, one) is that the Galaxy S2 has a little gap all around the screen, where dust has it's own damned ghetto.
The S3/Note 2 looks cheap, I'll give you that, but what else is a problem? "It's plastic" is not a problem.
I want to do that MHL thingy, I can get the cable easily, now all I need to know is if my phone is compatible...?
