sell it on ebail
Hm, the Xperia T looks good and it has on screen keys too.
To bad the specifications are last year's but it's still good.
Holy fuck this is annoying:
Galaxy SIII
Refuses to connect to WiFi, will lose connection after a few minutes if I do connect. WiFi is perfectly fine.
One X
Is just a PoS that refuses to work with adb or IT'S OWN SOFTWARE.... Also unable to flash ANYTHING

10/10 OS would buy again.
Edit:
Now fastboot ain't working, it's completely stock as well.
the default widgets are ugly and of limited use to me
what should I add
What? I agree about the limited use (and that they take up too much space), but HTC makes some of the most beautiful widgets ever made. The weather widget is awesome (if you look closely when scrolling, it has three levels of parallax: one for the temperature, and two for the clouds, which are very well done). Also, the flip-clock widget is pretty iconic.

I like the flip clock but the only two widgets that have it have weather or social updates included. i don't care about weather and if I want to see facebook updates ill open the facebook app. the only widget I like besides that is the Google Play Music widget.
Airdroid is pretty good so far, now only if I can remote access my phone like Airdroid anywhere.
TeamViewer QuickSupport can remote control Androids, but only ones with stock Samsung firmware
What font does everybody use? I'm using Helvetica S atm. Is there a way to add fonts?

Yeah, it does take up too much space because of that; they could condense it down to 2x1 if it were just the clock and I'd use it, but 4x2? Come on. I do like weather widgets, but I personally use one from The Weather Network (a Canadian site) that's only 2x1.

I think this works, but it doesn't add, it just replaces the one. I think you can only add multiple fonts on AOSP. Roboto is the sexiest (although apparently it shows up better on HTC screens than Samsung Pentile ones).
Oh wow, HTC's PC software even sucks. I keep getting errors even when trying to close HTC Sync and half of their programs and drivers don't even launch.

LOL why would you ever use HTC Sync... if you search around you can get a zip with just the HTC drivers

Jellybean is ICS that doesn't run awful, but UI wise it's pretty much the same. It's got new features obviously, but if you're on ICS consider yourself ahead of the curve.
Has anybody actually bought a phone from AndroidForCheap.com where they sell unbranded mocks of popular phones, same spec and whatever (mostly) but without "SAMSUNG" written on them or w/e
I'm looking for a new phone and yeah, they seem cheap
Currently trying to restrain myself from throwing my One X out the window.
If you are throwing out the Window, tell me your address and I'll be outside to catch it.

Something on your computer is messing with the HTC drivers. Make sure the drivers are working right, make sure you are using the stock USB cable, get rid of anything that interfaces with Android devices besides the HTC Drivers. Switch USB ports.
After that, try another computer and another HTC cable. If it's still not working, I'd suspect that the microUSB port might have issues.

The three levels of parallax you're talking about is completely removed from Sense 4.1 and later. Causes an immense amount of lag while going from home screen to home screen, makes the launcher use more memory when it can be put to other tasks.

Also PyroCF: The One X gets much, much better on JB. Just looking at a video of the One X+ on JB shows that's it's damn near liquid smooth, optimizations have managed to make it on par with the GS3 on JB, if not better than.

htc makes the sexiest widgets
and then puts them in the shittiest launcher
[editline]6th October 2012[/editline]
Get JB on your One X. It's really awesome. [sp]and yes, it still kills my tabs. But Chrome at least works now, so I can live with that.[/sp]

Sense 4+ launcher still sucks? I heard it's a lot faster/better now though.
I don't understand all the hate on Sense 4, it's probably my favorite manufacturer launcher. It's pretty, fast and the widgets are amazing
I don't like Sense 4.0, simply because of the aesthetics. Black, grey, and white with gradient shading all over? Wow thanks for taking us all the way back to Gingerbread design days HTC. I really don't like how it looks, I actually preferred the Glass like design used in previous versions because back then it was much nicer than stock.

HTC is definitely moving towards a theme that fits the color scheme of AOSP better, the JB ROMs have blue highlights instead of green, so that's a step forward.
Finally got ICS 4.0.4, someone's already got 4.1 stable within 3 days
