But that last part reminds me: do any other HTC users here know of any good case brands?
I just used HTC's official pouches, good quality works for other devices.
Kindle fire HD will have locked bootloaders

So no custom roms/root/google apps unless we are really lucky
Reposting to the new page because its kind of a big deal
HTC phones had locked bootloaders, Motorola phones had them too, so did LG. All of them were broken in a couple of months, save for Motorola.
I love SwiftKey 3, but it doesn't vibrate when I press a key. Is there a fix for this? It's bugging me.

You can turn it on under the Advanced Settings.
Then what would be the point of having security if you could go straight to camera then straight to everything else?
I want to be able to take a photo when I need to instead of typing out a long pib/password.

Well we don't know how bad is on the kindle fire
I mean amazon could just pull a motorola and encrypt it
How is ParanoidAndroid? Is it actually vanilla JB or just Apex?

Nevermind that, I just installed it and fixed the vibration issue.
Good good this ROM is amazing.

Paranoid Android is a pretty awesome ROM. Wish I could get an official version for my phone that wasn't out of date :v:
Galaxy Nexus at our store got JellyBean. It's really great in the UI, swiping between homescreens and app drawer pages is very smooth. Still some issues where widget icons try to load during a transition animation but it's definitely very close to Windows Phone 7.5 now. One issue is still very present. Apps function just like they did on Gingerbread or ICS in terms of smoothness and I suspect that will persist until they're made exclusively for Jellybean. Even if you own a Nexus device fragmentation still gets you in the end. Maybe devs will start making separate Jellybean versions of apps.
Well I got an HTC Desire C (Had a choice between it and a blackberry, and I chose android)
It's bad
It says that it has 4 gb of storage while it only has 92mb free for files and 1 gb for apps
Does anyone know when Jellybean is going to come out for the S3? i have been waiting for a while now...

The latest estimate is "October".

Is you get a Galaxy Nexus from a retailer, do they load up the phone with shit or is it still just the Google stuff and nothing else?
I have a xperia mini x10 with cm7. Do you know some apps that works fine in this phone?

also my predictions for the possible new KLP Nexus devices is
-New flagship Nexus phone
-Nexus play (basically a android iPod)
-Nexus 10
I really hope they put out a new Nexus phone before December...
I know people are going to hate me for saying this, but I actually kind of like HTC sense. It looks nice, has nice widgets and runs pretty fast

I agree with you. Doesn't run slow at all for me. Then again I've only compared a one x to a galaxy s
Nexus play (basically a android iPod)
So a Nexus phone without radio, but larger storage capacity / sd-card slot??
Does anyone know when Jellybean is going to come out for the S3? i have been waiting for a while now...
Already out if you're on the international variant, they are leaked version but fully official and flashing them will not increase your flash count or flag as custom.
So a Nexus phone without radio, but larger storage capacity / sd-card slot??
Yeah, and if they could somehow get the price down to like $150 or less, I'd totally buy it
Oh man
large capacity (64+ GB) media player on Android
supports more than just MP3
less than $250
I'm going to go search for unicorns now.

I never thought a thread could make me lose interest so fast. Comic Sans should be banned on internet forums.

Anyone who says Sense "don't run slow" clearly hasn't compared it to an S3, iPhone, or a Windows Phone or is incapable of seeing the difference to begin with.
