Still saying it just has 8 gigs. Are they stupid? I refused to buy a phone with less than 16 gigs and expandable memory. I really hope the production phones are at least 16 gig.

I don't understand why it hasn't had pinch to zoom for so long. I thought iOS had that in the mail app since day one. Great that they're finally adding it.
Would anyone get the 10" nexus?
If it was the same as the N7 with just the bigger screen then yeah, if it was priced right.

I remember when I first got my SGSII that I asked for something that could automaticly remove bloat each time I updated my phone with new FW. Some guy have actually made a tool for that! Super fucking awesome.

I don't need it that badly. At least the Play Store leak could just be installed normally.
It's a Nexus. Good luck.
I know Nexus doesn't come with it, I'm just saying , that was my own personal standard when I got my phone.
Did you install all the correct ADB drivers? If you're not 100% sure, I recommend just downloading PdaNet and installing it. If it asks you to replace drivers, just say yes then try running SuperOneClick again.
I'm up to the last part, just finishing the driver installation I CAN'T FIND MY USB CABLE I HAD 3 MINUTES AGO The root won't be useful to me, it'll just be a personal acheivement, my phones broken but I might put a slick new rom on my GF's HD
I know Nexus doesn't come with it, I'm just saying , that was my own personal standard when I got my phone.
Well then don't buy one, they are a great device built around very good cloud services. I enjoy using both my nexus devices and the storage isn't a problem at all for me.

I think Google is wearing rose glasses, because their HQ city (Mountain View) has free unlimited WiFi for everyone. But the real world doesn't have that.

Hexxeh? [editline]12th October 2012[/editline] bloody hell how did I not see the next page, sorry
Tell Hexxeh I would pay 599 US dollars for a Nexus with microSD. It doesn't have to have low internal app space, it just has to have microSD. Why can't Google separate those two issues?

That aside, they've always been developer phones primarily anyway, never marketed to general consumers very well. So until apps start going above 16GB or Nexus devices become aimed at consumers (which could very well happen soon) then there's not a big need to jump above 16GB on Nexus devices. [editline]13th October 2012[/editline] Oh and increasing the internal is the only way they'll go. Google has continually reinforced that they're not fans of SD slots on their phones. http://www.androidcentral.com/why-nexus-devices-have-no-sd-card
There really needs to be a new standard for memory on devices. I would fucking love it if it was possible to remove the eMMC chip without specialized tools, and then pop in an upgraded one (size, speed) for 20-30 dollars. Just make it like a CPU socket.

Also, I tried getting Gmail 4.2 and it works. Just go on Android Police for the apk and information. There's zooming and stuff! Yeah, he knows his shit.
Do you guys really zoom your email that much? I usually just read it on desktop if it's one of those html newsletters that's hard to read.
It's a problem with a lot of my emails. I hate having to scroll around to read an email.
I agree about the cloud thing, but it's too jagged for me thus far. A bit more integration, and it may be able to replace internal and expandable physical storage. Just not quite as seamless as it should be, imo.

You can already change font size and stuff in Gmail settings but new features are always welcome
