This was the first result on google for Android GBA emulator:

Swiftkey, because I suck at spelling and type too fast.

What are you using as sms/keyboard app? I love GO sms and then I'm using Thumb Keyboard. It's amazing because you get so much customization, macro keys, 2 spacebars etc.[/QUOTE]
Thumb Keyboard is definitely the best keyboard. After using swiftkey for several months, thumb feels better and more importantly has a working backspace key.
Swiftkey drove me up the wall constantly inserting the same word every time I attempted to delete a word. Its usage when trying to use BBcode was also counter productive at best.
For SMS I just use the default app, although GO SMS is a very good alternative.
Yea, I like trying different apps but I always go back to GO sms and Thumb Keyboard. I like that there is so many choices though.
I use GOsms because the stock app has that stupid "loading" pop up that blocks everything after sending a text, where as with GOsms I can send it and switch back to another app and it'll send in the background
and I don't use a keyboard because I have a physical keyboard <3 but the stock HTC one is pretty amazing and fixing errors, and it sounds like a typewriter :v:
Global Outbreak is such a cool game! I've been playing all the latest 3D games on my Note II.
Kinda wished devs would actually make use of the nice hardware though.

Some devs.

I HATE all these F2P games. I have no problems with buying games.

Devs are making use of the hardware. None of these phones even match the iPhone 4S for graphical power so devs on Android who also make iOS versions just lower the visuals accordingly. Looking at the screenshots for Global Outbreak, it looks pretty much what I'd expect from a top down game on a Mali-400 MP4.
[QUOTE=Cakebatyr;38036388]Speaking of Canadian contracts, where did all the two year options go? I remember when I got my SGS2 on bell everything [I]had[/I] the option of two or even one year contracts. Now I go to the bell or telus sites and the only options are no-contract or three year terms.[/QUOTE]
Basically contracts suck in Canada. You save way more on a 3 year contract than a 2 year and you save nothing with a 1 year. Pretty stupid IMO. It may been cheaper at the start but if you do the calculations, buying off contract and adding wind mobile or something is a hundreds less. But then again it still sucks in Canada.
It's kind of sad that in the US, contracts are actually not as bad as Canadian ones.
So like the guy I was talking about though that he could get a S3 by only paying 30 a month without buying the phone in the first place, as in he thought all you had to do is pay 30 a month for 3 years and you pay off the phone when it clearly stated that you had to pay $449 + $30/month. He even pointed out on the website that phones were $0 when I told him several times that this doesn't happen, you could just pay $30 the first month and run away with the phone. He kept on telling me that he only had to pay 30 a month and not have to pay for the initial cost of the phone constantly. This lasted for half an hour until he made a phone call to a friend who told him this. I even pointed out on the website that the S3 costed money to start with. After the phone call he thought that it wasn't worth it unless it was $0 to start with. No shit, no company will have such a deal, ever. I facepalmed so much.
He ended up not getting it because he didn't need it, and all he does is just make the occasional phone call...
Goddammit.

I should charge him commission for my time and efforts...

2 year American contract = 3 year Canadian Contract.
It's going to stay like that for a long time...

Ah.

I paid nothing for my Note II. I havent even got my first bill yet. You cant really run away when they have your birthnumber :v:
Paying 25$ a month for 2 years. Unlimited calls, sms, data. That's such a fucking nice deal.

The tab system is so basic. If your bill is <$40, you get the lower subsidy, if it's >=$40 you get the higher one. $29 a month is LESS THAN $40. I'm very sorry you had to deal with this, but please refrain from sending him my way.
What do you mean by sending him your way? I don't understand what that means.
Either way he is, considering going prepaid with telus with an old telus phone so it would be$10/month because of the top up expiry.

I mean don't tell him to go on Bell, because god forbid I ever have to try and explain our HUG policies which are a lot more complicated and senseless than Wind's.
The "pay 30 dollars a month for two years and get a free smartphone" system only exists in Europeland.

Go SMS is the best.
And is Thumb free? I'll try anything once.

Nah, it's very well worth it though.
I don't know about paying, but it's on sale today...
Prolly gonna go for it, though... Payday's coming up.
[editline]14th October 2012[/editline]
I do like that there's no separate tablet version.
Swiftkey's kind of a bitch for that.
You get a couple different layouts so thats nice yea.

Haha, perfect.
Dude, I'm cheap as fuck.

In any case, the only thing that bothers me is the spacing prediction. No auto-space after punctuation and bad at inserting spaces when forgotten. Beyond that, pretty good. But those two points were part of my main reason for getting swiftkey.
KiK is actually pretty cool!

What.
High End phones that cost $649 are $0 on a $30/month 2 year contract?
Shit.

You can get any phone at low price each month ranging from 12 to 72 months. It's really customizable!
Not to mention unlimited calls, sms, data as with my Note II for 25$ each month for 2 years.
Yeah, I think im gonna stick with swiftkey. Thumb isnt bad, but swiftkey better suits my style. More consolidated friendly to fast, shitty typers such as myself.
[editline]14th October 2012[/editline]
Them themes, though :/

Wow and I thought American carrier deals were best...
Exactly. The themes are shitty and limited, but the punctuation all on one key and spacing prediction is perfect for me.
Not to mention the symbols on every key. Really helps with German words.
