My N7 has finally updated to 4.1.2, awww yeah landscape mode! I've also taped some capactitive foam to my bandages so I can at least use my other index finger.
That statement is a contradiction IMO. Android Central stated it well. http://www.androidcentral.com/why-you-ll-never-have-latest-version-android
Okay, that makes more sense now.

Helps because the 3.5mm audio is on the bottom.

so much rumors on S4 releasing this february. I am going to wait until then to get a new phone.
so much rumors on S4 releasing this february. I am going to wait until then to get a new phone.
Why not waif for the S5 or the S6, clearly it will be better than that S3 or S4. /sarcasm Nexus devices coming out this fall
so much rumors on S4 releasing this february. I am going to wait until then to get a new phone.
The S3 was released in may, so the S4 is probably next may. There's always gonna be a new phone around the corner, so instead of waiting most of a year for the S4, wait a month to see the new Nexus phone(s) and buy then.
I wonder how large the Note III will be.
but the s4 supposedly has a 13 mp camera
but the s4 supposedly has a 13 mp camera
The Galaxy Nexus is 5MP and despite being relatively mediocre for a phone camera, it's better than my 5MP original Galaxy S. Megapixels don't determine image quality, but if you really need the number the Pureview 808 is 41 megapixels. If you want a phone for the camera buy that. Even better, if you wanna take pictures buy a real camera!
Them rumors... Just wait for the new Nexus and check it out
I really liked the idea of an 8mp camera on my gsii, but since I've gotten it, the quality has pretty much never made any sort of difference. I wouldn't even notice a difference between 13 and 8mp.
but the s4 supposedly has a 13 mp camera
We know absolutely nothing about the s4, everything you've heard is just baseless rumours and speculation.

Phones are always going to have smaller sensors and smaller lenses than compact cameras. The One X and S III have sensors that are 1/3.2" (~8mm), whereas most compact cameras have 1/2.3" (~11mm). I'm not sure what the Nexus has; this information is hard to find.
i hope his face doesn't get a kernel panic
at least his face is not an android because then he'd have to charge it every night and flash custom roms so that the nose won't fall off don't even get me started on theming
good thing his face isn't an iphone either he wouldn't be allowed to have any emotions besides the default until the 4.0 update
at least his face is not an android because then he'd have to charge it every night and flash custom roms so that the nose won't fall off don't even get me started on theming
but then when he does flash a a custom ROM, he'll realize that his penis doesn't work anymore because God didn't release the source to the penis drivers

Yup, lots of marketing and gimmicks go into advertising to get consumers to buy stuff /business101 (I took business courses/clubs, I know what I'm talking about :v:)

I mean, the Note 10.1 launched with 1280x800, and the best ones like the TF700T just run slightly higher than this phone at 1920x1200. Anyway that aside, I can't wait to see this thing in person once the screen appears in phones outside of Japan, it's really going to be a remarkable screen. I just hope there's a variant with a beefed up battery. 2020mAh to power all those pixels while the Note II is 3100mAh to do half of that.
i think they're aiming at make battery life so bad, it'll go negative
I don't mind a fat phone. If all the fat is a great battery. Or a slide-out qwerty keyboard.
I've often wondered, do batterys have to be rectangular? could they be weird shapes that fit into phones more, so any space space on the phone could be used as a battery, like an L shaped battery or something because samsung seem to like making massive phones with batterys the size of postage stamps [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] I remember my Nokia E63 battery, it was enormous and the battery life reflected that, albiet it wasn't a "smart" smartphone and wasn't doing as much but..

After all, lithium based cells are just lots of thin layers of anode material, cathode material and the separator material. And it's all wrapped up in protective foil.
