Do Nexus 7's still have screen flickering and color wash issues?
Do Nexus 7's still have screen flickering and color wash issues?
The panels still have bad color. Anandtech pegged it at ~60% sRGB, no info beyond gamut coverage so it's unknown how well the rest was calibrated, while DisplayMate got a better one at 86% sRGB but with such a badly calibrated intensity scale that images looked washed out like you mentioned. [editline]20th October 2012[/editline] The one V looks retarded, why would they curve the bottom?
It's a throwback to the original HTC Legend.

Where can I get the last version of Flash Player before it went down?
Where can I get the last version of Flash Player before it went down?
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Archived_versions Scroll down a bit, and there's sections for Android 4.0, Android 2.x and 3.x archives.
Revo uninstaller?
HTC DLX just leaked with clear photos and tons of specs: http://www.androidcentral.com/verizon-htc-dlx Paraphrase: Power button on the top of the bezel (what does this even mean), 2 GB of RAM, 1080p SLCD3 5" display, APQ8064 with MDM LTE modem, Sense 4+ with Android 4.1.1, and 16 GB of internal storage. Why they didn't at least put in 32 is beyond me.

After reading one article I still remember that it's an SLCD3 display, but somebody who gets paid to write about these phones can't. Hooray for Android Police writers that were capable of opening the page on HTC's site for the phone and reading super LCD 3.
Hopefully for everything that isn't a 5" 1080p device SLCD3 is Sharp's IGZO displays.
Apparently french carriers have gotten JB before unlocked phones did what is this madness it's the first time i hear that being done in that order
The same happened for carriers in Czech Republic when S2 was getting ICS. Two weeks before the unbranded version got it. And carriers already had their shit loaded in. I wish Samsung would finally get its shit together when it comes to updates. At least having update packages for continents rather than countries. That alone would speed up update releases 10 times. In other news, S2 has JB confirmed (again) for November, Note for Q4 2012.
Anyone know of a currency index (exchange rate between USD - EURO etc.) that they could recommend?
In other news, S2 has JB confirmed (again) for November
Just in time for Android 4.2!
Just in time for Android 4.2!
:( Which is why I'm going Nexus if there's going to be a 32GB option.
I'm getting one no matter the size, I'll take a 16GB nexus over this S2 any day. Updated to the 17th CM10 nightly on my S2 just before and noticed the single finger expanding in the notifications for the first time, seems very awkward to control. One of the 4.1.2 features, maybe my screen just needs a clean.
16GB is plenty for me.
Are there any differences between the (first) note and the S2? Or is it literally just size and the S-Pen
Bigger battery too (2500mAh in the Note as opposed to 1650mAh in the S2)
I planned on buying a replacement 3500mAh when I got it anyway
don't the 3500mAh ones make it look like it has a tumor? :v:

oh yeah, Mugen, that's the tumor brand.
Those aren't actually 3500mAh.
I've been living a lie just kidding, the gold battery I got for my blackberry torch extended the battery life by a considerable amount, even if it wasn't the mAh it claimed to be (I never really believed them) [editline]21st October 2012[/editline]
oh yeah, Mugen, that's the tumor brand.
I can't see the point in them, if you want to ugly up a phone so much for extra battery, just either take a second battery with you, or buy a dumbphone with a better battery life
Does anyone know a Gameboy Advance emulator where you can press 2 buttons same time? Because I tried atleast 4, including MyBoy, Gameboid etc. I found one called VGBA but I only found trial version of it. Any free good free ones?

I have a niggle with the Google Currents app. YouTube videos seem to open in the browser rather than the YouTube app. Most annoying thing ever!

Clear the link selections and see if you can choose the app from then on.
It is, even the Verizon one got it before other phones did, just not as fast as global ones. Buying any phone from Verizon and expecting timely updates is irresponsible, because OEMs have to make special firmware for their CDMA network. With the Nexus you don't get the same degree of carrier alterations as other devices, but it's worse than the Yakju UMTS ones.
Apparently my friends Galaxy Nexus gets OTA updates to 4.1.2 ...
