Works now. It's a service I use to keep track of my watched movies and tv series, xbmc scrobbles to it but I'd like to be able to check in to a movie when I'm, for instance, at the cinema. There already is an app for trakt in the android marketplace but it only does tv series, which xbmc does for me automatically so I don't have any use for it.

I would gladly pay a buck that turns my city's bus tracking website into a proper app: http://mybus.sudbury.ca/
The bus stops in my city have a four digit number on them, so you can pull out your phone, enter the number and the site will tell you how many minutes it will take for the next bus to arrive, the site looks like this: http://puu.sh/1hgtX
Though it's annoying to type in the number every time, so having an app would be nice. There is an app, though all it does is load the website which doesn't quite fit the screen.
If there was an app that saved and allowed you to label the stops, then would parse the website and put it into the app rather than a web frame, I would use it multiple times per day. There's a ton of students (with smartphones) that take public transit here, so I would imagine it's worth a shot :)

google maps needs more metadata for bus and train times so it can all be hooked into google now and be cool as fuck

You're not posting from one either...

I'm with you on wanting a bus app, http://www.translink.ca/ doesn't have one either. Admittedly their mobile site is perfectly serviceable, but I wish there was an official app.
All the other transit apps for Vancouver have very shady permissions and usually don't pause themselves when they aren't in the foreground.
I've been living a lie
just kidding, the gold battery I got for my blackberry torch extended the battery life by a considerable amount, even if it wasn't the mAh it claimed to be (I never really believed them)
I can't see the point in them, if you want to ugly up a phone so much for extra battery, just either take a second battery with you, or buy a dumbphone with a better battery life
They don't have much more than stock capacity... If you want even 3300 mAh, the battery is double the thickness of the stock one...
The official 2000mAh battery for the SII is meant to be good and make the phone feel better to hold.

This might be late, but Huawei is apparently working on a 6.1-inch phone. Who would use that??

Next you'll tell me you just picked up the remote for the TV, and it switched to a hardcore porno channel an cranks the volume to max, while there's conveniently kids in the room.

Only problem I've been having with my Desire Z is low amount of memory.
I should probably set-up a SWAP file on it's SD card.

"Huawei Ascend Mate"
u wot m8?
The people who are obsessed with spec wars and other stupid bullshit.
Give me a 4.3-4.5 inch 720p screened device with the best hardware on the market and battery life to match in a 10mm thick device, that would be my next.

Umm, is that a photoshop? No notification bar + you're never getting that much info on your screen, there's just not enough rows for the widgets.

Certain launchers let you hide the notification bar and change the grid.
So apparently the October 29th event info got leaked or whatever, this is spreading on the internet:
http://thenextweb.com/google/2012/10/21/revealed-everything-that-google-will-announce-at-its-android-event-on-october-29/
This means that Google will launch the LG Nexus 4, featuring a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera (and 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper) and a 2100mAh battery.
If that's the only option, then kill me. Kill me now. :suicide:

I may be crazy, but didn't I read somewhere that Manta was probably Motorola because they use "rays" as code names for hardware in development?

Nova Launcher, mate. a swipe down enables my notif bar. it's a very nice feature.
You know that feeling when you see someone else with the exact same phone as yours? That happy, "hey, that person had the same phone model as I have!" feeling? Well I found this girl texting away on a Mini Pro. Using the keyboard I never use.
I've only seen one guy and six girls who have the same phone as I do...
Oh the other hand, I've seen hundreds of iPhones, S2s, S3s, Notes, etc. in a year now.
Yes my phone is that rare...

I'd rather trade the slide out keyboard for 16GB internal storage on my Mini Pro than have the actual keyboard. At that point, it would be an Xperia Mini with 16GB internal.
Quick settings, we assume, refers to the tools we find in the notifications bar on Samsung's TouchWiz-running handsets, which allow you to easily toggle key functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC without having to dive into the settings menu.
Some more digging and a video was sent to Android Police by the source, showing the location of this "future site" – turns out it's a second drop down panel, which appears over the top of the first notification bar.

Something from 4.2, according to techradar.

That's actually really interestingly designed. I'd assume that page would be formatted like MIUI style toggles with a bunch arranged in a grid, and this dual drawer method lets you use them without needing to take up space to have a toggle drawer button, or by putting them above the notifications.

So, if the 10 inch Nexus drops, should I say "Fuck the Transformer Infinity" and go with Nexus instead? I'm so conflicted...
