Or a SD card slot.

We got tired of seeing OEMs include many GB of internal storage for music, while users were still running out of space for apps and data. This approach lets us merge everything on one volume, which is way better. -- Dan Morrill, Android engineer at Google
Src
Pretty sure they'll be a 16gb version. Chill the fuck out.
Everyone is "chill", don't worry about that. I'm simply upset that Google appears to be continuing their trend of refusing to let a 32GB or 64GB stock Android device exist for everyone to use, since the 32GB Galaxy Nexus was Verizon only.
So sick of using my Blackberry. I think I'm either getting the Galaxy Nexus or a S3. But price-wise, probably the former
So sick of using my Blackberry. I think I'm either getting the Galaxy Nexus or a S3. But price-wise, probably the former
I bet the prices will drop when they've announced the new Nexus line, so [del]waiting[/del] enduring the pain a bit longer wouldn't hurt your wallet.
I wonder if the Note III will be 6". I'm gonna so buy it.
I wonder if the Note III will be 6". I'm gonna so buy it.
Well then I have this super secret Note IV leak for you:

Using Google Chrome on Android, sometimes when it can't load a page it'll try loading it on the default browser (or when Chrome blocks an ad opening a new tab). How do I stop this cunting thing?
well then i don't want the leak traced to me whatever
Src
"Users are idiots, so we're making decisions for them" Well atleast now I know who to send that crate of pickled horsecocks to. Should've just integrated symlinking apps and things like apps2sd into Android. Instead of gimping flexibility because there's idiots on this very planet.
Ooooooooohh, SwiftKey is getting Swyping actions! http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/10/25/swiftkey-introduces-swiftkey-flow-a-swype-like-take-on-the-mind-reading-keyboard/
So SwiftKey had sex with Swype and this is the result? Well I'm interested. Stock 4.1 keyboard is more than good enough for me, but I'm always open to new stuff.

Anyone want some crazy rumors? Moto may be trying to clean up their act. And right after being bought by Google, whoda thunk? [editline]25th October 2012[/editline]
And we'll have to seperately pay for this? :v:
This was my first thought.

[editline]25th October 2012[/editline] Oh come on, was it really necessary to use dubstep music on that video?
Samsung is (finally) picking up on what made iDevices so popular - advertising. Now whether you hate or like/love this ad, it doesn't really matter, because it's going to be remembered, and that's the point.
At least it's not the Palm Pre ads. Those were really shitty.
Hopefully a fake :( This is just judging by the shape though, it might actually be good.
Snip I'm retarded.
So ugly. This is honestly why I couldn't use the Kindle Fire. Well, that and the OS.

This approach lets us merge everything on one volume, which is way better.
That statement seems to have absolutely no relevance to external SD slots. It's simply a statement about partitioning the internal memory. There are better arguments from Google (which I'm too lazy to find right now) about external SD cards. Things like the harm that comes from letting a user dismount a card while it's being used, and the slow experience that comes from putting apps onto the external SD.
My LG Lucid just now got updated to 4.0.4. Apparently for the few months I've had this thing I've only been on 2.3.7 or something like that. Needless to say, there's a HUGE amount of improvements I'm seeing, and I love it. I just hope my battery life doesn't take too big of a hit, it was short enough already.
Welp, I finally upgraded to JB. So far its working beautifully apart from Google Now and the voice search it comes with (although for some reason the weather info for the lock screen notifications that come from Now still show up. Confused)
And we'll have to seperately pay for this? :v:
Probably not. SwiftKey to SwiftKey X to SwiftKey 3 was free. Although I wouldn't mind paying a bit for this feature.
thinking of making an app that displays a notification whenever you take a picture of either your screen or with your camera. tapping the notification opens the app, lets you crop it, upload it, and copies a link for you.
At least it's not the Palm Pre ads. Those were really shitty.
I loved those, still want a Palm Pre simply because of those adverts.
One of my facebook friends asked "HTC ONE X or SGS3? Which one should I get?" And some idiot was going against every single person saying SGS3 because her one-x has "BEATZ AUDIO IT'S WELL CRISP AND GOOD" [editline]25th October 2012[/editline] I fucking despise the whole "beats" thing, they are so fucking terrible for the price you pay for them, it's just bassy crap for people with too much money to buy, my £12 JVC headphones sound better than the beats I tried at HMV
I loved those, still want a Palm Pre simply because of those adverts.
I like Sony adverts...
