I've got XP SP2 and a big bug in explorer. When I've got windows media player running in the toolbar explorer crashes and restores it self, than usually the toolbar freezes and i can't open the start menu. This usually happens when I'm using explorer,
Sorry for bad spelling and if you don't understand it just don't leave comments.
Are you using a custom theme for XP?
yep
I am using a custom theme for XP for a long time
and i haven't had any problems
If there's been no problems then I can't think of a reason.
maybe tommorow will be better because I'm having this trouble only today
and I went on facepunch because I had to reboot my comp for like 10 times
Turn off the toolbar?
I need the media player toolbar so when i listen to the music I don't have to open media player and than change the track but i just press the button in the toolbar
Remove the theme and see if that fixes it.
well I'm using the theme noy and everything is normal
the crash only happens at startup
the reason could be that I want to load too much programs at the same time
That's not how it works. If you use all your RAM, the program just won't open, not crash, What I think is that your little custom theme won't support the toolbar because no one coded it, so you proberally should disable the theme.
Kay?
If internet Explorer is having sex with you, you will inevitably having sex with Internet Explorer.
