Yeah, the one that comes with the processor does its job easy enough, but you don't want to overclock when using it.

And because the 212 EVO is such a popular heatsink there are tons of videos of how to install it.
Alright, I'll use your build then. Thanks a lot man.
Also lol just in time my main computer broke, it won't boot up and the hdd is fine
AMD's 8 cores are hyperthreaded and they are extremely shitty. Don't spew shit out of your mouth if you don't know what you're talking about.
I am afraid that you are the one who has no clue what they are talking about. Please at least know what hyperthreading is before replying. Hyperthreading is a thing that ONLY Intel does. Hyperthreading is good, but the extra "cores" it creates just can't beat physical cpu cores.
Here: "Hyper-threading (officially Hyper-Threading Technology or HT Technology, abbreviated HTT or HT) is Intel's proprietary simultaneous multithreading (SMT) implementation used to improve parallelization of computations (doing multiple tasks at once) performed on PC microprocessors." The only thing you're right about is the fact that it's not hyperthreading technology. It's close enough, though. The 2 physical cores in each of the 4 modules share a workload. Combined they have about the same computational power as a single core in any other processor. When it boils down to performance, it's essentially a quad core.
A quick question before purchasing all that, is that Radeon 7870 really good? I don't need top notch shit but it should make things like TF2 run at high.
Yeah, you can run BF3 on Ultra at an average of 55-60 fps (no AA) with a 3570k and 7870.
Alright, thanks again!
Bumping this to ask, I'm planning on purchasing the computer Walrus suggested. And apparently it jumped to $850 in price somehow. Anyway my budget is easily $930ish now and I thought maybe the parts chosen before were used for the sake of my old budget, maybe I could get better parts at the same price? The parts are http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=18871971
You can get a top of the line 8 core (Not hyperthreaded like Intel. Real cores.) AMD CPU for < $200 anywhere. You are going to pay an arm and a leg for an even comparable Intel one.
AMD does have an 8-core CPu, good performance, but it is definitely not top-of-the-line.
AMD probably has more issues than any other CPU manufacturer.
Intel sure has stepped over AMD that's for sure. They need to stop just throwing cores at everything and try to find a more efficient way to utilize each core.
My bad man, didn't even see your visitor message. Putting one together right now.

$930 w/ shipping, after rebates, and including the $10 gift card. I picked the TK over the regular Rapid because it's newer and full backlighting is pretty nice. If I would have known how much I wanted full backlighting, I would have saved $30 more and got the Trigger over the QuickFire Pro. If you're ordering in the next 6 days, replace the SeaGate with the WD Blue 1TB and use the $15 off coupon and shave a little off the price. Even if you're not ordering everything at once, just pick it up now because it's always nice to get a deal on a hard drive these days.
Yeah gonna replace the seagate with a WD blue, thanks a lot dude.

Oh wait apparently the personal shopper thingy already shipped the NZX case you suggested earlier, thankfully I managed to cancel all the other parts. That thing should do the job shouldn't it?
Yeah, the 200R was just because it's on sale and a bit roomier
All good, thanks a lot dude.
