Looks good I always stick with flat fees for jobs, usually sells better, also up on something that catches the Eye like a picture of a computer
[IMG_THUMB]http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/8526/repairflyercopy2.png[/IMG_THUMB] Any critique? They've been pretty ineffective so far. Maybe someone can help me spice it up a bit?
i suggest putting how long each job usually takes so that the customer can know how much they can expect to be paying you.
My mom's boss got me to take a look at his computer once because it was slow. Ran scans and the like, took programs he was unsure of off of autorun, checked to see if it was fragmented (It wasn't), ran CCleaner but it took multiple hours so I checked it with HDTune, and found the whole issue was the harddrive was dying on him, mostly near the end of the drive. Speed tests would actually fail from read errors at random points. His install had been untouched since 1997. I cleaned out the computer too. My dad has an air compressor and a small tool that keeps the air pressure down to a canned air level, and even with that it took me almost 20 minutes to clean it out. At least he's finally looking at getting a new computer...

One tip, the "system optimization: Clean out your PC!" should be "System Optimization: Make your computer fast like the first day!"
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820709008
I know it has a load of useful features but damn, that is one expensive 1GB flashdrive!
Got a job for Saturday evening. Nothing more than moving programs to a different partition and probably remove a few old ones. Not much but it is at least something (maybe it will help to spread the word a little).
:10bux: :20bux:?
Minimum of 10, 15 for a bit more difficult, 20 if it will take a goddamn day.
Going to post this again: www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd It should have all the utilities that you've mentioned (And a LOT more) on a bootable version of Windows XP and Linux. Having the bootable version of Windows will save a lot of time if the customer's machine takes a decade to boot. It also bypasses whatever shit has buried itself into their Windows install that runs on startup (Allowing you to remove the bastards that normally require a reboot).
I swear, every time I've heard about that fucking thing, I've looked at that page. I've looked and I've looked. I still can't find the fucking download link.
You could just try your local tavern.
I swear, every time I've heard about that fucking thing, I've looked at that page. I've looked and I've looked. I still can't find the fucking download link.
It's only released on the seedier parts of the Internet. Where landlubbers are too afraid to enter.

Good idea.
Just did a little clean up and advised to install programs to the F partition. Freed up 8 GB and made 15 euro. And most important a happy customer that will advice there friends to go to me.
I really like this guide.
Great guide hopefully I can make some bucks.
All I need is a nice flyer, and I'm off. Thanks, I was planning to do this before, but now I have some more info on it.
