I own Microsoft Office. But I could deal with Open Office if I had to.
Does it really matter, they all get the job done
I have a portable version of Office 2003 that I made with the Thinstall Suite, and it just has outlook, access, word, and excel. It's installer is only 73MB. :)
Microsoft office because its industry standard
Can't be arsed to install moffice 2003.
Can't be arsed to remove open office and install libre office.
I guess my lazy ass is staying with openoffice even though id much prefer the others.
Google Docs.
I haven't needed anything else for like a year and a half now v:v:v

Well if you want a quick proxy to browse the web, just install and run.
If you're a pedo in need of a much better protection, a ramdisk and fully configured Tor are needed.

there are ALWAYS ways around the blocking software. If it blocks URLs, then use the IP address. If it blocks proxy sites, then encrypt your traffic. There's ways around everything, you just have to do some digging, and get your fingers dirty if you're really vested.
LaTeX. I can't be bothered formatting documents.
nano :c00lbert:
LibreOffice, I was going to say Libre for everything except powerpoint then I saw the presenter mode in this thread and went "Fuck yeah".
Yeah, completely Libre.

Makes sense, but the question is still "Why Dropbox?"

Dropbox could have porn in it... or other offensive and objective materials not deemed appropriate or necessary for school.
No option for Google Docs? Having my documents available anywhere is pretty handy.

The question isn't about Operating Systems.
1. an emac is a computer not an operating system
2. emacs is a text editor
-snip, dammit codenamecueball-
ninjad you linux
I might have missed something, but what is the difference between OpenOffice and LibreOffice besides the fact that Oracle is stealing our glorious software?
