Sell the mobo repair was needed since we broke it during testing. I just bought a new corsair psu.
Wow computerwhizii, I thought you would know better than that.
The first step to troubleshoot a powerless PC is to inspect the PSU first, not RMA'ing the motherboard

new power supply didn't fix it
Judging from your post history you know a good deal about computers but unfortunately everyone makes mistakes. Therefore I am forced to ask:
Did you use standoffs?
Yes.
Then it's probably your CPU or GPU since basically everything else is new.
I'm assuming you put new thermal paste on the CPU after getting a new motherboard.
no duh

Got the new CPU, put it in, hooked up the new PSU. Nothing.
Out of desperation I pulled the second of RAM. It booted.

Setup a return with Corsair, they'll call back on Monday with an RMA number and shipping. I can't just ship one, they need both.
The misery continues.
Oh shit all that and it was a ram stick? FFFFUUUU.jpg to the max!
I had something near to this. I was so near just giving up and then I found that the HDD IDE cable had one mini cable snapped.
At least you got it solved.
Hey guess what since I still haven't RMA'd the RAM I'm running off one stick for now.
And I also found out that my G11 is fucked.
Yay me.
