Sounds like Hetzner and if it is be prepared for the worst support ever, shit peering, and an awful user CP / install process.
It is.
So far Install was a blaze. got Ubuntu+owncloud running
friend has been constantly shilling it and I found those prices too suspicious
O'm happy with Ovh tbh
Every time I try setting up FreeIPA I feel like I fucked something up in the install/configuration process and have to start over. I'm beginning to think I should just give up on it and start using Active Directory.
VPS?
SoYouStart and Kimsufi, since they are under OVH
SyS has some really strange network configurations when it comes to hosting a hypervisor on their network
Yeah, I've installed FreeIPA once before, it's a quite complicated application and hard to follow.
However, I love setting up overly complex solutions for my small and simple lab, it's a great learning experience too!
Finally managed to correctly clone my Server's OS 2.5" drive to an old spare 240GB planar SSD. Was so used to how laggy the server was in RDP I thought RDP was just... laggy. Now that it's finally running on an SSD it's so snappy and boots fast. Used to take minutes to really open Server Manager or updating it.
And some pictures of where it is right now.

And once 3.0 of Primocache Server edition lands to RC this will go in there.

BBCode is too hard for people to understand so everything needs to just werk™ which it does, just not how you or anyone else wants it to.
I don't get why we can't just have markdown at least, it's kinda shit but certainly better than this abortion.
Is that Supermicro SuperChassis with custom HDD hotswap caddies? I never seen that color on supermicro caddies, only dark red or shit brown button colors on the eject mechanism.
Just what the seller provided. I assume it's from some sort of OEM. The PSU's weren't Supermicro branded but were standardized. So I put in a single 920SQ and of course the loudest thing is the drives. The server even with 24 drives all being access isn't that noisy. About as loud as a small room fan.
The listing showed the dark red, but I like the yellow.
Got a shipment of tasty new DL380 Gen 10's at work
