I own an Xbox 360 from October 2005. Is thing valueable? - Hardware & Software

I tried to sell one of similar age and was offered $20 and that was like 2 years ago.

In like 10 years it might be worth something, like maybe a gold medal for still working

I have a original xbox as well that still runs loud as ever. I don't really use it that much though honestly, I'm a PC guy.

You only get 3 years coverage on RRoD and E74 now, and it has been this way for a very long time.

On newer ones you get like a year and thats only covers a couple things. My disc drive went bad and had to replace the whole thing. Not worth it IMO, but I had money at the time

Put it in a box for a decade and it might become valuable. Btw, I have an old SNES wich is fully functioning. The plastic case hasn't gone yellow-ish and I have all the original cables. What's the value of it?

It's not worth anything because it has a very low usable life. A collector is going to find much more value in the future with a 360 slim than the original crap box. It's going to be a display item at best. I'm not hating on the 360 either, just saying I've been there and done that with an original Zephyr design.

They'll be keeping it in good condition rather than using it. If it's someone buying it to actually use it, then that's where the problem will be.
