Far left: Storage shelving for software, spare components, tools,and media

Left: Workbench - Equipped with basic electronics tools such as soldering iron and oscilloscope and dedicated light source.

Middle Left: Laptop - Dockable if possible so you can keep it constantly powered and connected and ready to be taken anywhere when necessary. My Briefcase seems to be an awesome feature built into Windows for something like this.

Middle Right: Master System - Your choice of system and OS but overall is the main system you work with and is permitted to consume the largest amount of desk space.

Right: Secondary System - System of a different design or OS if possible, used for tasks not possible on the main system (in my case, pro analog Video work)

It's the Logitech G15 (second revision which has a third less programmable keys) and I bought from some mom and pop computer store in Summer 2008 while in Red Deer Alberta.

I actually saw the LACK rack before I had my servers. I knew as soon as I got them that I wanted to use a LACK. In hindsight, however, I should have gone with the black model. It would accent better with the surroundings.

If you don't really know what you're looking for, and don't mind the trip, or don't mind assembly, check out IKEA.

My desk is all from IKEA and honestly, the cost of labour feels like it's in the thousands but I think it's nice.
