Just out of interest, I ran it at 10x10
320*240 :smug:
That's what I try to run the game at.
And it still doesn't work. :saddowns:
Fucking intel graphics.
Well with Mac computer's their isn't much option unless you want a laptop. As for Windows machines I'd be surprised if you couldn't run games on a 1080p monitor at full screen settings.

I hang my head in fucking shame! :buddy:
i hang my dick in your ass

If that must be my penance, so be it :smith:
I have HD5850 and 1920x1080, runs smoothly all games i have tried. So your friend is just dumb.
Your friend is dumb. End of story
5850 at 1080p runs any game stupidly well.
I know as I have both of these things.
I enjoy my 1920x1080 monitor.
Nuh-uh, 16:10 is better than 16:9 because 10 is more than 9
1680x1050 <3
Im okay with my 1440X900
You can change the rendering distance. It's not what I'd call badly optimized.
But yeah, they're lazy fucks that couldn't even change the default values.
Rendering every single tree in a whole forest that's half hidden behind a huge building is the very antithesis of optimisation.
Nuh-uh, 16:10 is better than 16:9 because 10 is more than 9
16:12 is the only way to go
Letterboxing
Enough said
letterboxing isn't bad at all man
I can run crysis on max at 1920x1080 with a 5770 HD, Stil playable but not recommended though.
If you need a new card the 5770 is around 170 USD. Very good card for such a price

Yeah, but for $30 more I can get the GTX 460 which I heard kills it.
400 series wasn't out when i got my card :(
The difference between 1280x720 and 1920x1080 in extra time per frame is not significant enough for a better card.
we have scaling options for a reason
It still blows my mind at how many new games STILL don't support widescreen LCDs.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Juiced 2: H.I.N.
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
and many, many more...
Not only does that make me RAGE, but the fact that the cyrrent PS3 and 360 consoles only output 720p upscaled to fit 1080p for majority of it's games is just pathetic for the raw horsepower of those consoles.
I have a 1080p TV, and games that run at 720p are very obvious and look like shit... from all the horribly stretched and un-antialiased lines, to the excess buriness from all the pixel stretching... it's hard on the eyes. The Wii has to be the worst yet, stretching 480i to fit 1080i... ugh, give me a break...
The next three (or four?) major consoles better support 1080p gaming MINIMUM as standard. This is just pathetic.
those aren't that new
those aren't that new
...but new enough to have widescreen support.
The devs probably use those horrific 1280x1024 5:4 ratio LCDs, and think the rest of the world uses them too. :downs:

Tony Hawk's American wasteland is from 05', NFS:MW is also from 05' and Juiced 2 is from 07'. I can understand them not having widescreen support although they should.
Shit, even PS2 games had widescreen support, come on devs...
