What the fuck am I watching
I like youtube's new in-timeline thumbnail thing. I can check that he does indeed do that dumb shit for the entire video instead of watching the video.
My boss sent me a nice short email back. I needed to formally send him a message so he could forward it to HR. He's been great, I just feel that I kept wasting peoples time here. I think this exit is perfectly timed.
So, you're finally gonna have time to focus on school and your own projects/youtube channel? Damn nice.
mining alone or in a pool? also
He posted LTC, not BTC.
Wait, you were just posting the BTC prices, unrelated to his post. Nevermind.
My roommate said to me "Why would you ever need a flash drive? Just use the cloud for everything" We're both CS students.
To be honest, lately, I only really use cloud for all the shit I need on-the-go. My phone can host an image file for installing an OS on some machine, so I don't need a USB stick for that. I still carry a 4GB USB stick on my keyring, but that's only really because it's so damn small.
diving in the pool... Should probaly try putting miner on my server too...
SO: I initially couldn't get my server to run. Now it runs, but now it disabled the desktop. It seems like the ports don't like being overlapped. Any help? (and yes, they have individual worker stuff)
Thing is, all of the magic lantern files seem fine. But the partition is still fucked. And all the video files are there, but they are corrupted. I don't think ML is the issue since I've been using it for over 18 months on my camera and even on my 64GB for hours at a time. I shot like 3 hours of video on it before nonstop. So I guess I'm going to put the 64GB in without ML and record for like as much as I can and see what happens. I mean if the last file was corrupted I guess that's... fine, but it looks like it goes back and corrupts the files, which seems really odd. [editline]9th April 2013[/editline] I'm going to bring my laptop with me next week along with an external harddrive, I'm going to shoot, then take out the SD card, and copy files. To be fucking sure it works. So I'll have a copy going as I record more.
I came across a program a few months ago, I cant remember what it was called, but it was for recovering lost partitions. Worked great when I lost my entire hard drive full of backups. [editline]9th April 2013[/editline] Damn, I really wanna jump on the bitcoin bandwagon, but I dont have enough money for the jalepeno's new price and my 670 cant mine for shit. If CPU mining was still viable, I could use my 2-quad core server, but Id rather not for just a few pennies a day.
We're currently trying to find some software for this big lump of fucking awesome, the Hawk 3000 Energy Analyser doesn't that just make you moist We've got Version 4.0 of the DOS software called "Hawk Reporter" (Y2K compliant!), but there also appears to be windows software called "Reporter Professional" which was released in 2004, but it's > £500 (and we don't really want to spend that much :v:). We can probably find a laptop or something with a serial port and Windows 9x / DOS to run Reporter on, but it'd be sweet if there was an easier way to do it (ex. USB to Serial into a VM or something). Any ideas?
I just ended up on /r/tulpas somehow. I don't want to browse Reddit anymore.
Okay guys, how to mine LTC on two computers on same network? :v: EDIT: I think it works all of a sudden... wtf
Okay guys, how to mine LTC on two computers on same network? :v:
Start the client on both of them? Idk, worked for me. I think I even have the same wallets on them.
just blanked all the letters on my keyboard with electrical tape to see if i can handle it :v:
Start the client on both of them? Idk, worked for me. I think I even have the same wallets on them.
At first they just disconnected each other.. Now it suddenly works. Also, are you gonna make that thread? I could give it a go myself, but I'm afraid I say something really off.

I feel like shit right now and I can't record my desktop right now (Nothing wants to co-operate with me right now... ) I don't really know what I am gonna do right now.

It doesn't explain the process like you did. Heck, even the picture was enough. You don't need screen capture (Btw, BB Flashback Express is great and gives amazing quality)
I'm fairly sure you could route serial into DOSbox. [editline]9th April 2013[/editline] http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Configuration:SerialPort Ayep.
Can you route USB Serial into it?
