Since I have an Android phone I use Chrome To Phone a bit. For sending things like web links, phone numbers, map points, app links in the Market to Android phones which will open in the correct app.
Thin Scroll Bar - The Thin Scroll Bar extension shrinks the current fat and ugly scroll bar into an anorexic super model scroll bar. It measures 3 pixels wide to ensure a good combination of visibility and un-intrusiveness.
1. Enable this extension 2. Go to this Chrome experiment 3. Cum

Updated OP, and I'm going to redo the OP in the next few days to include categories and a few pictures.
Anesidora- Pandora app, plays directly from browser. No commercials or breaks.

This gmail extension is infinitely better than the dumb app that is just a link. Also bugmenot and SGPlus
Anyone else here use RockMelt? Not really a extension but is a variant of chrome.
Anyone else here use RockMelt? Not really a extension but is a variant of chrome.
Chrome for Facebook addicts.
Comment Snob - Filters out idiotic remarks in the comments section of several websites, based on a handful of rules that you can specify.
Comment snob is a really good extention, great for getting rid of stupid "thumbs up if" and spam/flaming comments on youtube. Also, its a greasemonkey script rather than an extension, but it works exactly the same natively in chrome, but this is a script which changes all the links in a google cached page to point to a cached copy - useful for browsing an offline website without constantly having to do cache:url. And ive got smoothscroll and the thin scroll bar now, thanks guys.
Vimium is very handy.
Chrome for Facebook addicts.
Hardly, it means I can chat to friends without going on FB, and check any messages and notifications. Plus the RSS feed bar is pretty handy, keeping up with comics/blogs.

How far is it possible to edit the UI of Chrome? I've been looking for an extension to make the tabs square (like in e.g. Firefox), but haven't found one yet. Any idea if there even is one? [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Also, I hope this was the right thread to bump. Isn't there a general "Chrome" thread somewhere?

I recently installed Canary to find that my favorite extension, SmoothScroll (which I found in this thread), to be removed from the Chrome web store! Here's an alternative Dl link: http://www.2shared.com/file/sASEQ3q6/SmoothScroll_106.htm
Docs File Viewer - Automatically opens certain files in Google Docs. Very useful for PDFs. Also, thanks a bunch for Speed Dial 2. I hate the default one.

Check about:flags for "Smooth Scrolling".

Why isn't the tineye extension on the list?
Not there. Windows-only, perhaps
It's not Windows only, but it might not be in stable yet. It's definitely present on Chromium OS versions of Chromium.
A couple I find very handy: Minimalist everything - Slims down Gmail and Reader, gives a wealth of options. Invisible Hand - Invisible until you start shopping for something, at which point a yellow bar appears at the top of the page informing you if you can get the product cheaper elsewhere. Neat Bookmarks - Puts a little icon that gives you access to your bookmarks to the right of the omnibar. Youtube Options - Basically Minimalist for youtube. Most notably gives the option to hide comments completely, choose the default video quality and size and make it so videos don't autoplay.

Plus if you actually click that link you'll probably find it's NEW ONLY £375 (with a £25/month contract). Just checked for myself and the '49 new from X' links to personal sales (much like a buy-it-now on eBay). So yeah, to reiterate, only works with proper retail websites.
