Would a 4850 be defined as a low-end or high-end graphics card?
Is a 9800GTX still high end haha?
I think it was one of the best eras for nVidia. Wait I take that back the 8xxx series cards were.
I think the 9800GTX is considered midrange.
I've got a AMD Athlon II x4 3.0GHz and a Radeon HD 5750 1GB Vapor-X... would they count as quad-core + high end video card?

5750, 4850, 9800GTX/gts 250, I have a 4770, I consider those low end by now. Those all perform similarly and are drastically worse compared to the new generations. ATI's already going onto a 6xxx series and nVidia has the gtx 480, and the new refined gtx580.

Dude, the 6xxx series are already out.
AMD Phenom II 955 BE
ATi [XFX] Radeon HD5770
DDR3 @1333, 4096 MB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium [English]
CM Storm Scout
HP Keyboard that came with the old prebuilt
Logitech G9x I got cheaper than G9

6900's aren't out yet, so the whole generation isn't complete.

All of those cards are still very capable though. Better than what most people have.
I put my vote for my desktop because it's more impressive.
i7 870 @ stock 2.93 ghz
8gb RAM
GTX 460 Cyclone 1gb
I'd call the 460 high end, wouldn't you?
I'm going to post mine because it's SUPER AWESOME AMAZING IMPRESSIVE
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR2
HDD: 1x200GB, 1x1TB
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 460 256-bit 1GB
CD: 2x super slow DVD-RW burners
PSU: 500W
That means its MID END WHOA
Seriously, the x2 5000+ is seriously bottlenecking that card. What is that a S939?
I know, this is a 5 year old rig now. And mid-end isn't an option on the poll :v:
It started out as:
AMD X2 3800+
2gb RAM
7900GT 256mb
I got the X2 5000+ for $30 off a friend, and another friend gave me his HD4650 when he upgraded to a 5770 (he is a really good friend :v:). So basically I'm too poor to upgrade my PC properly, and am just making do with what I can get.
And it's an AM2.
Intel Core 2 duo E7200, 2.53 GHz
2GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7600 graphics card :smug:
I plan on upping my graphics card for Christmas. I can see blown capacitors on my current one. It was second-hand when I got it 2 years ago. It's past its time.
Quad Core with mid end Gpu
It's getting kinda old.
You forgot mid-range graphics cards like my HD4830, though it could be considered lower-midrange now.
i5 750 overclocked to 4ghz
6 gig ddr3 1333mhz ram
Just sold my 5870 as I'm upgrading to one (or maybe two) 6 series cards once benchies for the 6970 are out. This means I'm currently sitting on a 9600gt, but as it's temporary I voted high-end in the poll.
AMD Phenom 2 x4 945 3Ghz and a Radeon 6870 1Gb (Gets here on Monday :D)
Intel core i7-975 x4 3.6 Ghz and ASUS ARES (HD5870 CrossFireX,true power) unlike the HD5970(underclocked HD5870 crossfireX). It's extremely pricey but its worth it as I know I wouldn't have to change any GPU for at least 6-8 years until I REALLY,REALLY couldn't run any game smoothly at low/medium settings, then it's time to change.
My way was I always go for the most powerful GPU available and hold out for several years and see how things are going on. I do not want to regret later on.

AMD K6 (Model 7)
Matrox Millennium G200
