Dude, it's a rebranded 8800GS, which can run games fine.
96 stream processors... Not that far from a 8800/9800 GT which has 112 SPs, and the 9800 GT can still run games just great, mostly maxing out all new games, give or take a few.
Similar specs != the same performance. The 430 is more of a rebranded 8600GT than anything. (Perfomance wise) and why would he get that, when he can get a 4850 that's slightly faster than a 9800GT for 30 dollars more?
Yes get a 4850 way more bang for the buck.

Get this, 2 DVI. Also, the powercolor version doesn't support crossfire.

That's a cool heatsink.

That heat sink is very generic.

I'm just used to those ugly blower type heatsinks.

doesn't every graphics card come with two DVI since 2005?
why is that even a plus for him? surely he's only going to need one DVI port
[editline]10th November 2010[/editline]
i have four DVI ports and i only use one.
and about the crossfire, again, that doesn't matter. he's trying to make a budget build, so it's not like he exactly cares about crossfire

That doesn't look fancy at all.

Add a cheap graphics card (most things can play source on high these days)
^Im not opposed to that, 4GB of DDR3 ram and a 1TB seagate barracude, definitely a steal.
