I miss the old XP days.
...yes and no. I mean, XP's a good OS n all, but I personally think Win7's better. Still, it's better than the rash that is Vista.
I'm running Win7 64bit and 2 VM's The first is Windows XP The other is Ubuntu 11.04 alpha
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2488893/ramblejohnkron.jpg[/img_thumb]
How are you getting the icon labels on the side like that?
How are you getting the icon labels on the side like that?
I've used AutoIt Then you just run this:
#include <GUIListView.au3> _GUICtrlListView_SetView(ControlGetHandle(WinGetHandle("[CLASS:Progman]"), "", "SysListView321"), 3)
if you wish to change it back, set the number 3 to 1 [editline]31st December 2010[/editline] Or if you prefer compiled: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1439918/ErpApps/cdl.exe
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2488893/ramblejohnkron.jpg[/img_thumb]
That's cool but looks sort of messy.
(and before someone says it, that "Illegal Vista" thing was just part of the wall)
...yes and no. I mean, XP's a good OS n all, but I personally think Win7's better. Still, it's better than the rash that is Vista.
I didn't say it was better. I just miss it. You can't disagree on my opinion.
I didn't say it was better. I just miss it. You can't disagree on my opinion.
Actually, I can. That's probably the major idea behind opinions.
Slight overhaul. I really like these Token icons.
How are you getting the icon labels on the side like that?
deskview.exe [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Makes the desktop behave like it has been sorted as a list [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] It's really nice since you can even scale the icons in w7 so that only take up a single column [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] I really wish it would be possible to make it so by default
This is by far the greatest wallpaper Pixel Heart ever made. Oh, and I can run Sauerbraten smoothly on this netbook since the "200 line" kernel update. This is great.
It doesn't seem to work, do I have to restart my computer?
Right Click, New->AutoItScript
Right Click, New->AutoItScript
I made it and compiled already, still doesnt start or anything.
I made it and compiled already, still doesnt start or anything.
Why don't you use the already compiled .exe? Works perfectly fine for me.
Why don't you use the already compiled .exe? Works perfectly fine for me.
I run it, it still doesnt work.
Slight overhaul. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/weeee.png[/img_thumb] I really like these Token icons.
Dock skin, please
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/desktop33.png[/img_thumb] I'm running Win7 64bit and 2 VM's The first is Windows XP The other is Ubuntu 11.04 alpha
Uhh, what? I'm confused.
I run it, it still doesnt work.
Hmm, what OS are you using?
Someone enlighten me on how to install an explorer and taskbar theme, that would be massively appreciated.
Hmm, what OS are you using?
Windows 7 x64.
Windows 7 x64.
Same here, but it works for me so the OS isn't your problem. It's a long shot but... could it be your antivirus?
It's extremely, extremely simple, but I like it. Need anything, then I use the Winkey. Need to look at what's open? Winkey+Tab. Also, not having the taskbar makes my screen look bigger. :v: Need to remove shortcut arrows, but my good friend Google will see to that, and to add a clock, and sort out the tray. But no taskbar for me.
Uhh, what? I'm confused.
It's Windows 7 with two Virtual Machines.
Warning: It's large. http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/7425/desktopquw.jpg I just changed my background earlier today. Also since I have 92 games in Steam, I only keep the ones I'm currently playing installed.
it does automatically

Here it is if someone else wants it. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] Oh, and if you want a tray/clock, back when I was on XP I used Emerge Desktop as a shell replacement. All you'd need to do is put shortcuts to emergeTray (and maybe emergeCommand if you want a clock) into your Startup folder. If you want a screenshot of how it looks, I still have old desktop shots from back then.
