[IMG_THUMB]http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/546/forestfrontier.jpg[/IMG_THUMB] I have two monitors with icons on both, both monitors have the same pic, so I just found the pic on my computer and uploaded it to imageshack.
Nostalgia
Yeah, that's exactly the reason I don't use desktop icons anymore. Except for Recycle Bin. :)
I don't bother with that either in Windows - the Recycle Bin removes items immediately.
Full HD!
I need more icons on my desktop.
Mines ok I guess.
My brother took this picture a few weeks ago and I fixed it up for him. One of his buddies is the owner of the car.
It'd look better if the image wasn't scaled so badly.
It'd look better if the image wasn't scaled so badly.
Well the picture is pretty big compared to my screen.
I can tell.
I can tell.
Of course :P
Try resizing the original image in photoshop or something, I think photoshop smoothens it all out.
Not that great but meh. [img_thumb]http://i49.tinypic.com/1ruvc4.jpg[/img_thumb]
Interpolation.
Also resampling.
Not that great but meh. [img_thumb]http://i49.tinypic.com/1ruvc4.jpg[/img_thumb]
Awesome desktop. Name of theme?
I've disabled showing icons on the desktop all together and now I've symlinked Desktop to Documents. I don't remember the last time I've actually bothered to click on an icon in the desktop I put there.
How do you disable desktop icons on the desktop?

Oh man, I didn't notice. :frown:
-snip, I'm blind-
For those of you who've changed your orb: how can I swap out the orb to where it will fit on the small superbar without sticking out over? Does it just need to be a smaller icon? I haven't done it yet but I'm making my own little theme for fun and want a custom orb.

No seriously, How do I make my desktop UI resemble something like this:
Assuming you're on windows, you're best bet is to replace the shell (explorer.exe) with another program. I've never done this and have only seen it done but feel free to call me out if I made a fool of myself.
holy crap, that's exactly the style i'm trying to make my wallpaper. (minus the dude) do the widgets come in orange?
The rainmeter Skin is called Bluevision 2.0 on Deviant art. My assumption to your question would be, no, but I'm sure you can download it and tweak the colours as needed. Hope this helps, and if I see anything similar in a different colour I'll let you know!
