stop talking about macs
we get it. They are expensive. You guys only talk about it in every thread that has anything even remotely to do with them
I totally agree with this. Just accept the fact that people have their own opinions.
Lets just all forget about Macs and go Linux.

Holy fuck, 6GB VRAM?
Holy fuck, 6GB VRAM?
It's for rendering stuff like Shrek 4.
Do you think these online retailers get annoyed with people adding stuff to basket just to see how expensive it is? They think they're gonna make a big sale and right at the checkout... window's been closed.
oh, I thought they were designed and manufactured in house. So did Foxconn design them or did Apple draw them up and license the manufacture to Foxconn or what?
They only do the design inhouse, rest is outsourced to Foxconn.
And know you know HOW you're being ripped off hard.

I really doubt that they watch their shopper's carts that closely.

Servers are expensive.

Shame it was only a joke. I do realise that online retail systems are automated.

I ordered three.
That's a 2 terrabyte SSD, of course it will be expensive.

That thing would run out of read/write cycles before it was filled...

What? The r/w cycle limit is per-block, usually per-512-kb or thereabouts. If you only use a few hundred gigs, over and over, once they start failing, it'll move the data to unused space, and mark the failing sectors as unusable.
