Oh, how could I possibly forget this: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/4Dj2T.png[/img_thumb]
I bought 2 of those. It was a good deal.
Oh, how could I possibly forget this: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/4Dj2T.png[/img_thumb]
Is that a graphics card shaped like a gun? There is no explanation for this. None.
Is that a graphics card shaped like a gun? There is no explanation for this. None.
It's actually a case for your graphics card. Why you would need one is beyond me.
Because given the price you will only be able to afford one for your many computers, so they give you a case to transport it safely between your computers :v:
[img_thumb]http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/2010-01-09crvd-18.jpg[/img_thumb] $6500 per monitor [editline]wefe[/editline] 42'' diagonal, 2880x900 resolution. I would get one if it was like $500
If those screens had costed 1/10th the price, I'd so have bought 3.
Yes, though can that MacBook be used in extreme heat, extreme cold, high vibration environments or have a spill-proof keyboard?
It causes extreme heat environments, making extreme cold environments much easier to handle :science:
It causes extreme heat environments, making extreme cold environments much easier to handle :science:
And it turns into a thermonuclear bomb on a very hot summer day
Is that a graphics card shaped like a gun? There is no explanation for this. None.
it's just the packaging, at this point XFX have become masters of unnecessary packaging their PSU packaging looks like they tried to make it into a puzzle, even after seeing unboxing videos it confused me a little
yes, I know. Doesn't stop my friends dad owning 3 of them, all with NEC Spectravision 2390 displays.
He sure knows how to spend his money :downs:
Yes, though can that MacBook be used in extreme heat, extreme cold, high vibration environments or have a spill-proof keyboard? Nope. MacBooks are pretty durable as a consumer machine, though they're not suited for situations where a Toughbook is needed.
They aren't suited for any situation.
Well, the only thing justified about monster cables is that they have a lifetime warranty.
Well, the only thing justified about monster cables is that they have a lifetime warranty.
Yeah if you're a musician or dj it's nice to bring in a cable that breaks to any monster dealer and get it replaced for free. The hdmi cable behind your tv probably doesn't get much wear though. http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/aviation_headsets/a20/index.jsp These are expensive but so comfortable on a long flight they are worth it.
Are you the pilot?
I never got the price for HDMI cables. They just send 1's & 0's they either work or they don't.
Amen. Amen. Of course people don't know any better.
I do about 200,000 dollars worth of dells optiplex 780's every 5 weeks. So much fun
Are you the pilot?
I am an instrument rated private pilot, but I could only afford the david clark headset. My boss has the Bose headsets on his plane, I don't have a high performance endorsement yet so I can't fly it.
http://www.alienware.com/Landings/desktops.aspx you have to admit, you can either buy an alien ware or save half as much with twice the build quality by making a custom build.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0a/Optimus_Maximus_keyboard.jpg/800px-Optimus_Maximus_keyboard.jpg[/img_thumb] Why hello there, I'm fragile and I cost a measly $1536 US. BUT IT HAS SCREEN KEYS and that still doesn't make it worth more then a fucking gaming rig :colbert:
Wait until this goes into production: http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus-tactus/ Still, that is my favourite design studio.
Oh, how could I possibly forget this: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/4Dj2T.png[/img_thumb]
That orange tip was really necessary.
Yeah if you're a musician or dj it's nice to bring in a cable that breaks to any monster dealer and get it replaced for free.
Or, if you have any sense at all, you buy a box of Neutrik connectors and some cable (I like Canare cable) and make your own for a 20th of the price with industry standard connectors that will always have spares available :) If it breaks, 30 seconds with a soldering iron and it is fixed. I made like 10 3M-6M Quater inch jack-jack (With gold plated connectors, NP2X-B!) leads for a total cost of around £25 and an hour soldering.
Silicon Graphics Onyx R10000 [img_thumb]http://www.futuretech.blinkenlights.nl/apps/onyxgs02.jpg[/img_thumb] Can it run Crysis?
We have these in our IT department, only reason we have them is because of the warranties
Are you regularly setting them on fire or something? You could build at least 2 computers that has at least as much power as an Alienware for the same price.
i love when people try to argue for custom builds in an office setting

I hope to God this one is just an unfortunate typo. Look, it even says you save £34,3999 off the recommended price.
Oh god, I really hopes that can deliver quality for that price!
