I must say though, Toughbooks are well worth the cost (if you're in a job that has that type of abuse). The handyman at my community theatre has a older (2005?) one. It's fun to watch him mess with newer crew members, he'll pretend to flip his shit when they ask a question and just swipe the toughbook of the table and into a wall. Fun times.

A quick story somewhat on the lines of this.
Way back when we first got cable internet service, we were shopping for some computer related stuff and i quickly picked up an ethernet cable. Basically the first package i found that said CAT5 on it.
Later, when i actually had a reason to use that cable, I dug it out and plugged it into the cable modem at the time. It didn't quite fit right, so i pulled it back out to discover that it had a rj11 connector on it. Completely confused, I looked at the packaging closer and found that sure enough it was a CAT5e phone cord to "make your dialup faster!"
I wish i had a picture of it.

This was 1996 dollars. Back then the canadian dollar was tops .60 on the US dollar, hence where all the stereotypical "canada has weird colored funny money" came from because it was worth dick-all almost anywhere on the planet. the UKP was also very expensive to us as well.
