It doesn't even 228-bit encryption! I mean wtf?
Yeah, it has 256 bit encryption.
Yeah, it has 256 bit encryption.
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1020084-Sparkbrowser-Your-new-favourite-web-browser! It's a reference to this thread.
Yeah, it has 256 bit encryption.
That shit's nothing compared to 1080 bit encryption.
That shit's nothing compared to 1080 bit encryption.
Thank you Captain.
I just found this a bit funny.
You jelly because we have Macs?
when you look at it, pcs are far more superior in different departments (gaming, cheapness, upgradability, etc)
Not THAT expensive but was too cool to ignore
My sister said there is a bar in Philadelphia that uses this on the bathroom doors. If the power went out everyone could see in right?
I always thought it was kind of funny. I don't know how much is true though. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] Also, this doesn't represent my personal opinions. I'm not bashing on macs.
Decided to check it out myself. Note that I am not choosing a side.
I raise you this Now for a PC comparison Bear in mind that the UK overprices everything, so if someone in the US did this it would be cheaper still.
My turn! I'll include a few things these builds don't, like a case, motherboard, OS, PSU, cooling, stuff like that :v: http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/4051/pc1r.png http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/2009/pc2.png How interesting. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] Crap wrong CPU's on the PC, let me get the proper numbers. [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] Total on the PC goes down to $4,481.84 versus the Mac Pro's $5,699
You're assuming that the Mac Pro uses a really good Mobo, and the case for the Mac Pro is definitely not worth $500. You're also assuming that the Mac Pro would have a good aftermarket cooler, which it obviously doesn't. [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] You're also assuming that the Mac Pro uses a reputable brand 5770, which it obviously won't. And why the hell did you include the PCI-E lane thing? The Mac Pro case would be worth like $130 tops.
The mobo would be very standard I should think. [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] It isn't even listed.
macs use foxconn boards

Who gives a shit if you made the PC too expensive, it just further emphasizes the markup on a Mac.
You're assuming that the Mac Pro uses a really good Mobo, and the case for the Mac Pro is definitely not worth $500. I couldn't find a server mobo with more than one PCIe slot but I didn't look very hard. You're also assuming that the Mac Pro would have a good aftermarket cooler, which it obviously doesn't. I'm assuming that the Intel stock coolers are going to make the CPU's overheat like mine did [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] You're also assuming that the Mac Pro uses a reputable brand 5770, which it obviously won't. It was a $20 difference and I bet if you were going to make a real Mac Pro-alike you would use a decent brand And why the hell did you include the PCI-E lane thing?
macs use foxconn boards
My HP must secretly be a Mac then. :ohdear:
macs use foxconn boards
oh, I thought they were designed and manufactured in house. So did Foxconn design them or did Apple draw them up and license the manufacture to Foxconn or what?
oh, I thought they were designed and manufactured in house. So did Foxconn design them or did Apple draw them up and license the manufacture to Foxconn or what?
You think Apple designs and manufactures their own parts. lol

IPS panels are not overpriced. I got a 1080p 21.5" IPS monitor for $250 :colbert:
BUT MAC CASES CAN STOP A BULLET :downs: successful marketing
Besides, don't all I do is prove your point further?
Why would I ever want a bulletproof case, and it looking good is all down to personal taste, I for one think they look horrible.
I think there cases look pretty good to be honest, I'd probably never buy one from Apple though, if they did sell them.
oh, I thought they were designed and manufactured in house. So did Foxconn design them or did Apple draw them up and license the manufacture to Foxconn or what?
foxconn does it all
Isn't the designer at apple some Birtish guy? There's probably more but i think he was lead or something.
Isn't the designer at apple some Birtish guy? There's probably more but i think he was lead or something.
Could it be Garry from a previous life? Time will tell...
Could it be Garry from a previous life? Time will tell...
Garry can't design for shit. So no.
stop talking about macs we get it. They are expensive. You guys only talk about it in every thread that has anything even remotely to do with them
