Retina Display more than likely won't be happening unfortunately. Think of the power it would take to run a 2048 × 1536 display (which is only 264ppi whereas the iPhone is 326, so the resolution would have to be bigger than that). And think of the shortened battery life take from the GPU that would run it.
I just hope it has a new UI. I've always believed that its UI held it back. iOS was designed for the small form factor like the iPhone. Something in the middle of iOS and Mac OS would be perfect for it.
Here's hoping this means the first iPad prices will drop. I'll not get my hopes up though.
I'm guessing it'll just be lighter, higher capacity, better battery. Small improvements. Maybe I'll be completely wrong and they'll do something amazing with it.
I really don't want an iPad. My iPhone would be unbearable if I hadn't jailbroken it into shape, and I really like Android. But with the announcement that the Motorola Xoom is going going to cost around £730 makes the iPad look like the only option.

I'm sure its going to have a camera this time. It was dumb of them not to add one in the first Ipad.

You never know, Apple have done before and its been more than 12 months since the iPad 1 and the iPad 2 has been in production already apparently.

Yeah, I took a gamble with buying it, because I bought it about a week after the release. I wanted something with good picture quality, and small enough to fit in my pocket so I could take it on my trip to Washington D.C. last year. It has a lot of neat features as well such as 720p video, wide photos (take 3 photos and the camera automatically stitches them together, and very well at that), and some really good close-up quality.

Nope. If you have an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, you'll be able to view it. Otherwise, tough luck.
Jobs likely won't attend so it's not going to be worth watching as much as before.

I came up with a theory: maybe Apple secretly leaked out these images to distract people from the real iPad 2? You know, just to avoid another iPhone 4 happening.
Then they'll come out on-stage and go, "and THIS is what the real iPad looks like" and it won't look like a piece of shit.
Worst case scenario is that it ends up looking like...that...which means I'm never buying it.
