Psh, USB 1.1, no thanks... There's no reason they couldn't have put USB 2.0 in there, it's cheap as dirt, even when it was released.
You know with this being a 1st Gen G15 it's actually pretty old (2005).
Around that time incorporating USB 2.0 into a board was more expensive than it is now, plus most of it's power goes to the screen so there isn't much for the USB ports to use, so even if they did install USB 2.0 into it at stock, you'd most likely have your devices underpowered by it.
It's really only recently (2007/2008) that Logitech have started putting USB 2.0 into their devices.
Thinking of buying it.
If I could buy only the palm rest I would, the prongs on mine broke so it slides anywhere and its a pain in the ass to use the keyboard without it.

Mine too, you oughta see the amount of duct tape I used to (somewhat) secure it.

Still avalible! PM me if/when you get interested :)
And yeah the joints connecting the palm rest are pretty thin. Mine isn't 100% unbroken either, but at least one of them works. The other is secured by tape.
The joints are entirely broken off for me and my keyboard is stuck on a tray so how they broke off is beyond me.
Will replace it eventually especially since it's dirty as fuck and I can't use the screen.

3 extra WASD-type thingies. Far more usable than the single column of Gkeys.
Have you fapped on your keyboard or done some freaky shit like lube the keys and put them in your asshole?
....No
I don't think that's the best question to ask if you're planning to buy something.
I think 40bucks is incredibly pricey for such an old keyboard. I love mine and I got it on release and it still works. But considering it cost 120 bucks or so new, 40 dollars for a keyboard that came out so long ago seems high. Not to mention it's technically used. No matter how clean you get it.
But I guess people really seek out V1 g15's so maybe 40 bucks is worth it to someone. Either way, I have a g510 coming thursday.
I don't think it is a bad price. The keyboard model may have been introduced in 2005, but it is still sold new (if you can get it new) for about $120 to this day. The V2 of this keyboard is obviously a lot more available and still sold for around the same price. But people still want the V1, because of the additional features it has which is why it's pretty sought after still to this day. My keyboard while obviously used isn't in bad condition at all too, and functions just like a new one would.
The big thing is the free shipping. The $40 includes the $15 or so it'll cost for me to ship as its pretty massive, so from my point of view I'm only going to get $25-$30 out of selling a top of the line gaming keyboard that is in good quality, which I feel is reasonable considering its 1/3rd of the going price that they sell for new.
15 bucks for shipping. Wow. I spent like 12 for UPS when shipping the PSU and 4870 to cjmax.
When you put it that way though, I guess it's alright.

Well I only say that much because its not exactly a super light keyboard and it needs to go in a rather large box due to its size :( $15 is the high end though, it shouldn't cost any more than that for me to ship. I figured it would be easier to just set the price to $40 instead of $30 + shipping so I did
Price is now $35
I get my check this Thursday, I'll see if I can buy it. My current keyboard is starting to fall apart and age.
I have the keyboard and I can vouch on how great it is, I never really utilized all 18 programmable keys though, seems a little excessive
Craigslist. That's how I sold my G15 1st gen.

Were you still interested?
Price is $30
Just so everyone knows, these fuckers are looong, I'd measure your desk tray if you have one to see if there's room for it + mouse room.
Were you still interested?
I'm saving up to get college books. Sorry.

It's cool :) Good thing to save up for.
I have the V2, but $30 for the V1 (With BLUE lights!) seems very reasonable. I'm tempted to take you up on this.
You know you want the blue. It'll make your PC run cooler!
I would, but UK.
I can ship internationally, I'll just have to charge extra for however much extra it'll cost to do so.
I really need a new keyboard but I don't have the money...
...I get money on Friday, I can probably stick $30 in my bank account and run my debit card on PayPal or something Friday. Will that be OK?
Y'know, it's funny, I bought one of these new-in-box at a local PC store for $30, and it seemed like a damned nifty keyboard. Problem is I had to send it back because it was IN ITALIAN. :downs:
I too am interested, but buying broken stuff in any degree has always sat funny with me for some reason. I'll have to fight with myself about it.
SOLD! Had an Amazon listing up and someone just bought it from there and paid the money for it.
