What? 42'' at 1024x768? I run a 42'' Widescreen HD-TV at 1680x1050, (not the max, just too lazy to keep changing back and forth.) and it looks pretty bad.

mine says the max is 1024x768, but that's thought VGA. I don't know if that changes if I use the HDMI, and I don't have a spare HDMI cable to check.
Get one on Newegg. They have cheap HDMI cables.
