It's pointless having desktop shortcuts to applications in Windows 7. Just pin it to the taskbar for a cleaner look.
My weather gadget for Rainmeter broke. Had to find another one.
Thumbed.

The red of your rainmeter doesn't match your desktop. You can make your system tray smaller by hiding AVG. Less shortcuts would look better.
Thanks for the tip. I also made my system tray smaller.
Here's what it looks like now:

remove the recycling bin, and get minibin. Then find a 7 theme on deviant art (I like soft 7)
and if you feel like it, rainmeter

Is Rainmeter a good idea?
Also, how do I make the desktop icons bigger?

I don't like your RSS rainmeters. It's just a big wall of ugly text.

If you're going to do rainmeter, learn how the code works and make your own skins. Yeah, it's time consuming but it will still probably take less time than finding the right skin online to match the look you're going for.
It's also not that hard. The rainmeter manual is excellent and has tons of examples to help you get started.

I must say, that's fucking amazing for XP. Looks really nice. One thing though: If you're gonna use rainmeter, use a less cluttered wallpaper, or one that compliments the widgets, otherwise it'll look messy.

Compliments the minimal style of the other widgets and looks nice in a utilitarian sort of way. I'm not about to go editing the font or adding borders or some shit like that, they would make it horrendously ugly. They're quite nice to use too, I often take a look at them when I've got nothing else to do.

Some of those rocket dock icons I made myself. Small victory. :v:
I would like to know why Rizzo/Pixelheart insists on continuing to post in a place he's most certainly unwelcome and despised
it's almost like masochism
if this completely baffles you also rate me agree and perhaps he will then get the message
Attention/Box whoring to be honest.

Okay, any more suggestions?
Okay, any more suggestions?
I can't see your start button/task bar, so I can't suggest a theme or whatever.
Shortcut docks and desktop widgets can look good, if you choose nice ones.
