No. I just wanted to state a fact in hope that everyone would stop arguing.
professional support > user support
The community is the professional support. They help design versions of Linux, so they know the code.
why would i need to try an os i already know is shite
So you say an operating system is crap even though you've never tried it? That's like saying the PS3 is the worst console without even trying it.
Once again, Linux is better than NT. GNU/Linux vs Windows is all preference.

+1 to Thread Derailing, +2 for being such a horribly obvious troll and still pulling it off.
Once again, Linux is better than NT. GNU/Linux vs Windows is all preference.
"Linux is better than New Technology." Ahahahhahah. That's just funny.
(Funfact: NT used to mean New Technology. It no longer means anything.)

then why didn't you play along
also a couple people fell for it
because that's not good practice in a debate.
I just realized I started this war.
Cool :D
It no longer means anything
It doesn't mean new technology anymore? When did that happen?
also windows 2000 pro's login screen said based on nt technology.
new technology technology

The contrast of the sky doesn't match that of the grass. However it's still a nice wall.
would be perfect if it were higher resolution

A perfect example of icons working with the desktop.

Fits my desk area nicely- lots of black.
Not sure why it's compressed, it should be 1680x1050, not 1600x1000
Once again, Linux is better than NT. GNU/Linux vs Windows is all preference.
This. Because Linux vs. NT isn't factoring in games, and whatever things windows users enjoy wasting their time with. And I don't think anyone can deny that Linux > NT when it comes to performance and security.
would be perfect if it were higher resolution
Well it was on my netbook, so...

Right click on the taskbar and go to properties. Then under taskbar buttons choose always combine and remove labels.
