Doesn't it make more sense to find out what games don't work on Windows 8? It's not THAT different from Windows 7 and Vista in terms of compatibility.
No, because this list is tested. If you post a list of stuff that doesn't work, that wont ever have every game with issues.
So if you have a game and it's not on the list, it doesn't mean its good, but if a game isn't on this list it does'nt mean its bad.

Warcraft III and Frozen Throne works fine, at least in compability mode with Windows XP SP3. Sound doesn't seem to work, though, but I'm running an old version.

Please gather more people to test Warcraft III whom have fully updated game clients, and then report if they work with sound without compatibility mode being necessary to run.

I'll try, I simply had some problems with updating last time I tried. Don't really know why, but I'll see if I can get it do it. Otherwise someone else must have Warcraft III, so I don't think it'll be a problem, really.
Crysis 2 Non-Steam does not work with DX11. It's fine with DX9.
Starcraft 2 works fine in Fullscreen mode, except if you move your cursor to the left edge of the screen, it'll exit the game and you'll need to move it back, same if you move it to the area with the start menu button, and it can be pressed. Windowed mode wasn't tested, not on Steam.
Terraria works great overall here, but soemtimes it is laggy, what didn't happen in Windows 7.
The Sims 3 works in Windows 8, except after extensive testing, it will not detect my graphics hardware properly as it can in Windows 7.
Also, when I zoom out into the map view, it blacks out everything non-essential, again, something most likely related to the lack of graphics options working properly.

Garry's Mod is already in the list. It works for the Majority of people. That is mostly what matters.

it has only fullscreen, but it works
as soon as you start the game, the graphics drivers get fucked up(but the menu in ra2 works without any problem) and the game graphics stutters, playable, but even the slugs do stuff faster than that. And by 'fucks up graphics drivers' I mean opengl and even some directx apps starts to stutter like you don't have any graphics accelator and runs on full cpu, so you have to restart and have a cold boot so win8 will load up the good drivers. Running this game IS NOT RECOMMEDET!!!

Mirror's Edge works on steam in fullscreen and windowed. There are a few texture errors (black lines on some buildings) but nothing serious.
Unreal Tournament 99 GOTY works in fullscreen and windowed on steam and off steam.
Shouldn't this thread a list of games that don't work on Windows 8? After all PC gaming is generally the closest thing to 100% backwards compatible in all of the gaming industry.
