I just finished a load of cable management in my PC and when I plugged it back in and turned it on, it went crazy then turned off and smoke rose out of the top.. It wont turn back on and I smell burning, like solder. I'm so worried but I think it was the shitty Power supply. I am just hoping that it hasn't blasted any other components. :saddowns: Now I'm using my shitty laptop. At least the cable management was better Edit: Found out what happened. PSU couldn't handle the fact that I had used a twin molex adapter and decided it would melt. The melted plastic was the burning and the inside of the PSU is fucked up. Oh well, going to buy a good quality one now instead.
jesus long post
I like how you're wearing latex gloves like you're doing ~surgery~.
Looks like this case is a bitch to work with, but damn! it looks great.
It is and besides, it's the only DELL case that supports non-DELL motherboards, bscly standard ATX.
I like how you're wearing latex gloves like you're doing ~surgery~.
Well yes, isn't it similar? And besides, it prevents nasty finger prints on new hardware. Other than that, your hands are covered in sweat when you take the gloves off again.
Ordered a replacement PSU, a Corsair HX750W! :woop:

The PCB on my current 570 is bent a little, and it idles at 60 degrees. Yes that is celcius. Going to watercool the whole system when I finish building the case.

I just did my first build. I still don't have a graphics card, but I'm now saving up for one. Here's a picture of the inside: Some cable management, eh? So I was so excited that the triple core AMD processors are unlockable to the quad core version. So I went into my BIOS but I wasn't expecting this... Built into my BIOS is a Core Unlocker option... I guess my motherboard manufacturers really wanted people to have a quad core...
