It looks like you've got way more than what you need in there, might just be because each wire is individually sleeved though, the only thing you're missing is a sexy case, nothing with the 690 II (I've got one) but it's more a budget case with amateur looks in my opinion.

I can only find a 690 II Advanced with chrome strips :C
Also just noticed the stock CPU cooler, looks ugly man.
I think Intel stock coolers look kind of nice.
I removed the strips and painted em myself. Yeah, the stock cooler is shit. I'm watercooling soon. :smug:
I can't wait for the H100 from corsair.
Would rather get a custom loop. You can always expand, upgrade, or change it. You can't do that with the H100.
I can't wait for the H100 from corsair.
I didn't know this existed. :fappery:
Yea, but if I were to go custom loop, I'd go all out and I've burn through all my money like always. [editline]24th June 2011[/editline]
I didn't know this existed. :fappery:
Coming out in late july-august. It's a 120x240 model, similar to the thickness of the H50.

I'd like to see larger versions from them. Maybe 3x120mm versions, 140mm versions, 180mm versions, 200mm, etc. If they expanded their stock they'd have an even more amazing series on their hands.
If I knew this was coming out I would have waited instead of getting an Antec KÜHLER H2O 620, but I'm pretty satisfied with it so far.
I can't wait for the H100 from corsair.
I can't wait for everyone to get over closed loop coolers already
I can't wait for everyone to get over closed loop coolers already
:saddowns:
I don't even get the point? I thought water cooling was for overclocking and or silent PCs, but when you have a closed loops you have 120mm fans just for the CPU just like you would with a real HSF. All it really does it possibly clear the area around the CPU.
Just get a full watercooling loop instead of getting those closed ones. Sure, they're more expensive, but they perform a ton better.
Would there be a significant difference between a H100 and a custom water cooling with reservoir, pump and a radiator? I mean, they use the same size radiator now?
Not everyone can afford water cooling.
Would there be a significant difference between a H100 and a custom water cooling with reservoir, pump and a radiator? I mean, they use the same size radiator now?
With custom water cooling you could have it cool the GPU also
With custom water cooling you could have it cool the GPU also
But CPU temps?
Depends how much you drop. And which case you have. But yeah, you'll get better temps with a custom watercooling setup.
I'm getting a old "gaming" pc from the IT at my mom's work and I have no idea what do with it. I'll probably post tomorrow when I get it. [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] All I have laying around now is my Lexa S which I'm selling, tons of SDRAM, DDR2, and DDR3 from old PCs and Macs, and an old ATI x1300.
why do people hate the lexa S? i know 2 other people who swapped out of them and have them laying about...
why do people hate the lexa S? i know 2 other people who swapped out of them and have them laying about...
It's a pretty bad case to be honest, looking back I have no idea why I purchased one.
I just did my first build. I still don't have a graphics card, but I'm now saving up for one. Here's a picture of the inside: Some cable management, eh? There she is all set up. And here's my Speccy: Disregard random white to the right of the image. I hate paint...
8GBs of ram, suddenly Graphics card.
8GBs of ram, suddenly Graphics card.
Working on getting one.
8GBs of ram, suddenly Graphics card.
Integrated video :downs:
You can actually expand on the Corsair watercoolers, my friend had a H50 at release, wanted some more performance for his i7 950 and so bought another two H50 radiators (just radiators, got them both from ebay for £15 each) and did a custom three way radiator loop, looked cool too, Original corsair CPU block -> Radiator 1 on back of case -> Radiator 2 on top fan -> Radiator 3 on 2nd top fan -> reservoir -> Corsair CPU block.
