Man, I hate companies who use shit color PCB with a passion. I don't understand why companies will manufacture their shit (sometimes in the $200 to $500 range (GTX 580 with bright blue/brown PCB with no backplate!?!)) with some crap colored PCB.

do you look at your motherboard all day? why does it matter
Depends if you have access to a dremel and access to acrylic.
If you don't, your best bet is to get a new case, since yours is only $50.
I own the dremel, and can get the acrylic.
do you look at your motherboard all day? why does it matter
with this logic everything should be completely brown and nothing should look aesthetically nice
with this logic everything should be completely brown and nothing should look aesthetically nice
No. With this logic if you don't stare at it, why does it matter?
No. With this logic if you don't stare at it, why does it matter?
What's the point of doing anything in your case like painting fans/the case, and cable manage if you don't stare at it?
What's the point of doing anything in your case like painting fans/the case, and cable manage if you don't stare at it?
Cable management is useful for airflow. Painting fans is just silly, most the people I know do it for their epeen.
If my cables are managed and everything is where it needs to be, I don't care if my mobo is vomit green or solid gold.
So you are posting pictures of your interior to show people how good your airflow is? I see.
personally i can't stand doing maintenance on my computer if it looks really bad. I know that's incredibly stupid and all of my opinions are now invalidated, but if i'm doing my bi-monthly dust clean (i fucking hate dust) i'd rather not stare at puke green PCB on my graphics card, bright red RAM covers, dark green motherboard, etc etc.

seriously fuck dust, dust is bitches
So you are posting pictures of your interior to show people how good your airflow is? I see.
Why are we posting them anyways? Because we can. But it doesn't matter what the color of your motherboard is. Because nobody except you gives a shit.
I post mine because I find the interior of computers fucking DAMN SEXY.

But you don't care about PCB color, contributing to the way it looks? I'm missing something here..

The insides of computers in general are fucking sexy.
Computer hardware fetish?

No, I don't know. It's like engines. I love looking at engines. Don't care how they are.

Who cares? Asus and MSI's boards are great.
If anyone saw that I'm sorry. -snip-
(sometimes in the $200 to $500 range (GTX 580 with bright blue/brown PCB with no backplate!?!))
If you're insulting my MSi GTX 580 Xtremes, you can fuck off.
:colbert:
Backplates should be standard on video cards because on pretty much every case you only see the PCB on the top and it looks stupid, especially when they put stickers on it and when you try to take them off they leave that stupid sticker shit.

I'd rather have shit yellow/brown PCB than what gigabyte is doing with their 1155 mobos, matte black PCB in exchange for price and features
I thought my Z68XP UD4 had good features for the price.
gigabyte still don't have UEFI
gigabytes prices have dropped since I last checked, the P67A-UD4 is now around the same price as the P8P67 PRO, there's also the GA-P67X-UD3 for slightly less but that's back to blue PCB and it's still a fair bit more than MSI's cheapest x8/x8 PCI-E slots board (P67A-G43/G45) and between the two same priced boards I'd rather have the Asus for their UEFI
why does the P67X-UD3 have more SATA II ports and a larger chipset heatsink than the P67A-UD4
