I just wanted to say i found it weird that instead of putting a fan on the heatsink, putting it on the back of the case with some crap plastic cover.
Most older Dell PCs used them. They would overheat after a few years if they got dusty enough (3-4+ years without cleaning out the inside). I guess it was to isolate the heat coming from the cpu so it wouldn't affect the overall system temperature as much.
Eh, tried to fix up my cable management and I got rid of the two blue cathodes. I also ordered a Samsung 1TB F3 today, sadly it won't arrive until Monday. Does it look ok or should I redo it again? Specs: HAF 912 Asus P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP Intel Q6600 OC'd to 3.4ghz Antec KÜHLER H₂O 620 XFX HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600mhz BFG 550watt 160GB Western Digital 500GB Seagate 1TB Samsung (soon!)
Is it that time to repost systems? HAF 932 Black NH-D14 Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Intel Q6600 (3.5GHz) 4GB G.Skill PI Black 800 XFX 6950 Antec EA650w WD Blue 1TB HT Omega Striker [sp]Should get a black PSU[/sp]
I was just asking for cable management opinions :v: But I guess reposting rigs would work, I love looking at people's computers lol.
It looks fine! I should get a modular PSU because the amount of cables behind my mobo tray is warping the back case door.
I should invest in getting one too at some point since I plan on getting an i5 and and second 6870 so I'd need better PSU anyway, but that's like two months away.
Might upgrade a little eMachines I have if I ever buy a new PSU. Would stick the parts into an Antec 300 and add a 4850 + EA650, and a F7P.
I have a Lexa S and a GTX275 laying around in my closet. I should throw all my old parts once I upgrade in the Lexa S which will literally be my old computer lol. I should give it away or something once I do that.
NH-D14 needs black fans and black heat sink. I see a silver PSU and I want to paint it black....
Nah... Better black fan housings and white fans. The heatsink itself should stay silver.
Noctua fans are classy, anybody who paints them is a faggot.
Generally, it's just a question of taste, so don't hate.
So I just received my big ass Hyper 212, and I love it! 4.0GHz overclock on my 555, at 32c max load temperature :smug:
Hey guys, should I get the BitFenix Shinobi? It isn't ricer, and has everything I want in a case. But I don't know if A: It would be a big step up from my CoolerMaster Centurion 5 or B: If it's actually great quality or not.

But so much of this is personal taste, it's not horribly overpriced or anything so it's not a bad purchase, it's just that personally I'd go for the Cooler Master silencio 550 or one of the fractal design cases in that price range as they all offer more features and presumably better build quality. But it's your choice.
kinda offtopic: Anyone here who mods prebuild PC chassis to make it use standard ATX motherboards? I saw a few people who mod DELL XPS 720 chassis from DELL BTX to non-DELL ATX layouts n shit. Here's another example: Apple's G5 modded to fit standard ATX boards
kinda offtopic: Anyone here who mods prebuild PC chassis to make it use standard ATX motherboards?
Try OCN or ExtremeSystems. I'm sure there are people on there who would do it. Although it will cost you quite a bit.
God damn that's ugly.
What are you smoking?
God damn that's ugly.
Apple makes some nice looking products, it's just that they're overpriced as hell.
Apple makes some nice looking products, it's just that they're overpriced as hell.
The only product which I thought legitimately looked nice was the Black Macbook Pro. That's the only one. No ugly feet or alternating curves on the case. [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] If they still sold that model, I would have one as soon as I could afford it. But nooo, lets go for shiny shiny Aluminium!

always try typing on old keyboards, it might be mechanical
God damn that's ugly.
Not when the case is shut. Otherwise, what do you expect? The user had to saw many parts in this case out and rearrange shit. But in the end it looks like this and has Windows with some better and upgradable hardware running:
No, I meant the Mac Pro case is ugly to begin with.
Well yea, some people like it, some other don't. You can say that about everything bscly.
