What's your PSU? I'll pay for shipping once I get the cash to actually send it. [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] Also the GTX 275 was given to me by a former Facepunch user lol.

I can probably afford an upgrade if necessary.
pics of parts that have been in my computer: from late 90s to now. can't remember the exact names of these cards except for the two last ones which are nvidia [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] the white fan is needed occasionally to cool down my pc when it gets too hot oh i miss the days when pcs barely required cooling :allears:
What is the last Card on the right I might be interested in purchasing it from you
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1308&ID=2045 Specifically that case.
Yeah you might want to upgrade that first.
Yeah you might want to upgrade that first.
Any idea to what?
Refer to reapaninja's post.
Maybe this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016 It worked fine with my BFG 550watt.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371047
i think it goes like this: (ati)9800 (ati)??? (ati)880gx (nvidia)gtx 275 (nvidia)gtx 570 (hugin)carex table fan 12" very unsure about the correct card names here for the early ones I had 2x gtx275 in SLI before I bought the gtx570. I had to take them both out + a hdd drive due to the 570 taking up 3 slots.
275 and 570 i had to take out both of the 275's to make the 570 fit
So I am going to assume the the 570 is not for sale
The DirectCUII is an amazing cooler. Idling at 30 and doesn't go over 50 in load. Almost as impressive as the Artic Cooling on my 470. [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] Maybe should mention that its the 580 version I'm talking about.
So I am going to assume the the 570 is not for sale
correct maybe the two 275's, but I think I'm gonna give one of them to my brother. not sure if he needs it though
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371047
I'll be buying that this weekend!
Damn, if only my income hadn't dropped dramatically over the years. I really wish I could game, but I can't even afford a new 5 dollar game at this point. (My cash has to be invested into things like food, whatnot.) Anyways, an update on my programming: I found a nice little thing called SDL which can help me make my game function. If anyone has some other libraries that are beginner friendly (Or not too complicated, whatever floats your boat) I will look into them.
Anyways, an update on my programming: I found a nice little thing called SDL which can help me make my game function.
A couple of Android games and emulators use that.
On socket 775 theres no performance increase from ddr2 to ddr3. But since you got them for free why not.
DDR3 is cheaper than DDR2.
So I recently upgraded my custom DELL XPS730 PC (non-DELL-motherboard) with the XPS 730 H2C liquid cooling unit... case open The H2C unit is the two blocks at the bottom with the sliver stripes on. also I got myself a Geforce 8600 GTS as a dedicated physX card... it turned out in a total bottleneck - fail... useless piece of shit well, I just keep, because it still hase some use. In order to control the color of the chassis LEDs, you will need to install the Nvidia system tools. And without an nvidia card or some other nvidia hardware I couldn't've done it. Now it glows red. :v: Here's my second computer, an original DELL XPS 710... got it from Ebay for 250€ in a very good condition. This is the computer where the 8600 GTS came from, it had two of them, now it has only a HD4870X2 in it. I don't actually need this rig, think I'm gonna gift it to my brother, since he's still using an oldass crappy DELL Dimension 8300 and refuses to use some of my self built rigs. How nice of you, I bet he will be happy.
How nice of you, I bet he will be happy.
Well I hope so for him! :argh:
DDR3 is cheaper than DDR2.
Now it is, not when that motherboard was made.
Now it is, not when that motherboard was made.
Maybe that, but the DDR3 makes him able to upgrade to another platform later without switching RAM.

LinusTechTips or NCIXcom did the test, they got 5fps increase by using a 480 as dedicated PhysX with a 560 Ti or something. They actually got a 20ish fps decrease by using a comparable card to yours.
Why exactly did you cross out that Hard Drive?
It's an old Speccy screenshot and I don't have that hard drive in my computer anymore.
