How is 9.2kg light?
[editline]9th August 2011[/editline]
Fractal desing core 3000 is 7.1kg and I still wouldn't call that light.
There's a alot more cases i'd rather take to a lan than a lanboy.
Is that a ScanFX GPU?
Looks horribly flimsy plastic.
The GPU is actually quite cool even with poor airflow

Do you have your heart set on that cooler? I'm asking just because there are some out there that perform better for the same price (or cheaper). It's still a very good cooler and will probably serve you quite well, but if you're willing to get something else, I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212+. It should perform as well or slightly better than the 9700 (only 3-4 degrees), but for almost half the price. Just make sure you use a good thermal compound along with it.
As far as thermal compound (paste) goes, there are several options that are available to you. I personally use Arctic Silver 5 which has served me very well over the years. Others recommend MX-2 and 3, as well as Shin-Etsu MicroSi G751 which are also excellent compounds. Honestly, the difference between most of the more well-known compounds is just a matter of a few degrees, which (IMO) is rather insignificant. It's all about how you apply the compound.
Hopefully I don't get ninja'd with someone ranting about how much the 9700 sucks and how you should get a NH-D14 even though it's $90 and complete overkill.
Edit: I just read some more reviews on the 9700 and some people noted that the fan can be a bit loud at higher speeds. Most "sleeve" style coolers (like the 212+, HDT-S1283, etc.) are very quiet as they use larger fans. Also, you can put whatever fan you want on those (so long as they fit) whereas with the 9700 you're stuck with the stock fan.
Hope this helps.

Its sort of like a plastic vent with a fan in it that has an opening facing towards the back. The hard drive doesnt get in the way of the air flow or anything.

Well a phenom 955 and a 5770 isn't exactly new, but its not bad in any way nonetheless.

You'd be an idiot if you'd kill for merely 150 bucks.

The gfx card fan expanded in the heat and doesnt spin anymore so I had to get a spare to sit on the power supply.
