Do they actually sell any of their products to people who aren't buying newegg supercombos?
Got this old HP office computer years ago, still with it today. On Thursday I should be putting it in the attic since I've got a new gaming rig arriving. Can play Garry's Mod around the lowest settings possible, but isn't very stable with it. Can't upgrade it since it lacks a PCI-E slot, probably because it was originally an office computer.
Computer
Aww man, I want an Intel Pentium too!
I'll post the finished product later.
IS IT DONE YET?!?! im impatient.
IS IT DONE YET?!?! im impatient.
Yeah but it's too dark for pictures now and it's sitting in the corner of my room until I finish installing crap on it tomorrow. I need to move desks around since I'm giving my brother my glass desk for his much larger desk so I can fit both of my computers on it. [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline]
Messy.
This is it installing Windows 7!
It was just a joke. Also the xcase website has a batman case:
Haha, yes I knew someone would point that out, don't let it put you off though, the gaming cases they have are brilliant value.
They also sell a series of SHORT rack cases that fit into audio racks. The only case I could find that was suitable for my mobile recording rig. (There's literally 1 inch of clearance left at the back of the rack)
Haha, yes I knew someone would point that out, don't let it put you off though, the gaming cases they have are brilliant value.
Most of the "high performance/gaming" cases tend to be a little ricer, but I can see the appeal.
Haha, yes I knew someone would point that out, don't let it put you off though, the gaming cases they have are brilliant value.
haha are you kidding they're just typical cheapo ricer cases
haha are you kidding they're just typical cheapo ricer cases
http://www.xcase.co.uk/ ugh I think I going to be sick
I just overclocked my 940 to 3.6GHz, but for some weird reason I had to up the voltage by 0.150v just to go from 3.5 to 3.6. [editline]24th August 2011[/editline] Hopefully by Christmas I will have saved up enough to be able to do a major upgrade. Deciding if I should upgrade to a 1090t or a 2600k, and If I should get another GTX460 for SLI or a whole new single card. Any advice?
your powersupply is probably not good enough for your overclock so just downclock the thing a bit, just to be sure you should upgrade to 2500k or 2600k, if you are doing just games and no professional use, go for an i5 or just wait for ivy bridge, bulldozer and new generation graphics cards

Recently I ditched that heap as the driver support was utter crap (I couldn't even get it to ouput at the correct refresh rate via catalyst) Anyway, I'm back on my GTX260 and I'm going to try to get it up to 3.6 tommorow.
Next gen cards will be next year and bulldozer too probably
What I herd is that 7000 series will come now in Q4 but you'll never know. And about bulldozer, I only have this any not any "good" source. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_FX_microprocessors
I only have this any not any "good" source.
what
what
Wrong spelled. What the hell was I thinking.
I only have this but not any "good" source.
That how it was suppose to be.But what I ment was wikipedia.
I'm putting my money on Ivy Bridge coming out before Bulldozer. Which means AMD will be a generation behind. (Like it is now)
I'm putting my money on Ivy Bridge coming out before Bulldozer. Which means AMD will be a generation behind. (Like it is now)
Feels like I have missed something. Never herd of Ivy Bridge.
Feels like I have missed something. Never herd of Ivy Bridge.
Ivy Bridge comes after Sandy Bridge. Has PCIe 3.0 support and some other stuff. Can be used with socket 1155 and also brings socket 2011.

It's a corsair HX750w, and at the moment I only have 1 GPU. And also yes, I will be waiting for the new stuff. Hopefully I can either get the new stuff if it's reasonably priced or get the old stuff which should become cheaper. [editline]25th August 2011[/editline] Looks like This review website had the same problem I did.
Yea but won't they be released around the same time?
Ive-bridge is going to upgrade the current sandy bridge, and LGA 2011 will replace 1366. Two completely different sockets. And 2011 is getting delayed all the time, probably won't be till Q2 2012

What's with all the USB flash drives?
Please tell me you aren't using that 8800gt for physx
What's with all the USB flash drives?
I have been collecting them over the years, its just easier to keep them on the commuter then risk losing them somewhere.
Please tell me you aren't using that 8800gt for physx
Nope it powers my 2 side screens
And why aren't you overclocking?
And why aren't you overclocking?
I just built this yesterday so I have yet to reach that stage.
