I just built this yesterday so I have yet to reach that stage.
I usually overclock right after the thermal paste has set (Which is 2-3 days of use)

The rest will arrive on Monday. (CPU and GPU). I have a motherboard which was given to me.

Cord Management failure. This is my first built computer, I was having problems with the Power Supply, so I couldn't be bothered to make everything really neat the second time I went around plugging everything in again.

I decided to fix everything. It is a lot cleaner, but still bad.
When I upgraded to Sandybridge a couple of months ago:

You can do better than that.
Now no matter what, the computer anit starting.
What did you do?
What did you do?
Fixed it, plugged a cord where it didn't belong at the top right beside the 12V-8 pin connection. Decided to use the old photo I posted as reference, took me half an hour of disconnecting and reconnecting. Now that I know the problem, what should I do to take care of that bunch of cords?

My case has no cable management and looks beter than that...

Wait.. Did you turn it on with the wrong plug thing in the 8-pin?
The Floppy drive power connector on this PSU is slightly burnt where it connects to the GPU
Is that some kind of code? I don't get it :(

Thats a CM 690 II (Advanced) right?
They have pretty good cable management options. Start by taking all loose cables out (SATA Data, front panel connectors) and then run your 8pin (Or 4pin) cpu power and 24pin power cable through the bottom hole next to the psu, and make them come out to the hole nearest to the connector. The cpu power cable has a special small hole for it near the top left of the motherboard. Then what you do, is route every cable behind the motherboard tray (See why a modular PSU is handy?). You case has special tiedown points for zipties which you can use for this. Also route the PCIe power behind the motherboard tray and make it come out of the hole behind the gpu. When you've finished this it will already look much cleaner! You won't even see the loose cables because they're behind the motherboard tray, and molex/sata power cables can stay behind the panel to power harddrives, they only need to be visible for a few cm to power the optical drive. Then after that you connect the sata data cables back to the harddrives and route them to the hole near the sata ports!
(That basically was the easiest way i dealt with cable management in my CM 690 II Advanced.)
I even did a guide on the CM 690 II lol.

Thats what I did, just the CPU 8-Pin didn't have enough length, so I kept it on the mobo. Just the spare cables I didn't put behind.
Wait.. Did you turn it on with the wrong plug thing in the 8-pin?
No, of course not. it was just a 4 pin straight connection that didn't belong that was beside the 8-pin. Accidently plugged it in.
I'm going to clean up my desk now to take pictures.
Zalman coolers look great in my opinion, I remember when everyone had them and they were amazing.
too bad they're usually overpriced ricer shite
everyone else realised a while ago that regular tower designs are some of the best, but zalman seems to refuse to accept this, despite performance and usability benefits like the ability to use standard case fans
Meh i don't really like the Zalmans tbh. Actually i have a huge crush on the Dark Pros :

Yea, it looks alright I guess but it's somewhat noisy and doesn't seem to cool too well (won't idle below mid-40s).
Not the dark pro, but my Zalman.

They are very similar, perform very similar too.
My case is shitty and tiny.

Why is your Hard drive not mounted properly?
It's hanging out and only held in by one screw, are you mad?
Oh and should heat be a concern with it comes to hard drives?
Oh and should heat be a concern with it comes to hard drives?
Not really. Some drives actually perform better at higher temps
Not really unless you have multiple together and even then one good fan (usually on the front of the
computer) is more than enough.
