Then even less likely SB prices will fall. Atleast 2500/2600 series. If you want the fastest consumer CPU it's going to be a 2500k/2600k/990X. AMD has nothing to offer.
AMD made a boo boo if I'm reading this right.

So, I'm roughly still right? Wasn't sure. Unless those are mid-level Bulldozers in that chart.

This makes me a sad panda

I'd say you're about right.
Shitty quality, I know. Going to get better pics later

It's all good ... I got that dust off with a ton of compressed air and toothpicks.
and there's nothing I can do about that damn fan cable from touching my GPU.
I did my best with cable management, I'm not quite good at it.

Power supply is IDE I think, and those cables can be done MUCH BETTER.
Slowly but surely, it's coming together as something usable again. Can't fix this fucking purple screen bullshit, and I have to run in safe mode. :(

include a reference of size to emphasize its massiveness

I've had a broken VGA cable causing this before.
I would check it.

I've tried three video cards, three VGA cables, and two VGA/DVI adapters. No fucking clue what to do. I asked /g/, they were stumped. I asked every single one of my computer literate friends, they were stumped. On top of that I get constant kernel errors so I can't run in anything but safe mode. BUT OF COURSE HDMI WORKS JUST FINE WHEN I RECENTLY BROKE MY MONITOR WITH HDMI. Fucking fuck.

I just wanna play my video games, its been two months :(
Do you think your windows colour profile might be fucked?
I remember that crt screens used to do that when the powerchords where halfway in or something.
Do you think your windows colour profile might be fucked?
No, cause I've taken a screenshot and when you look at it from a different computer, the colors look normal.
Blame the display then. Perhaps the VGA port has a few damaged/disconnected pins.
Well what the fuck. The purple is gone. Now I gotta fix these kernel errors...
Power supply is IDE I think, and those cables can be done MUCH BETTER.
What's an IDE power supply? And yeah I know that it can probably be done better, but I'm not really good at cable management so I did the best I could.
I really need a modular PSU...
The problem with this one is it has an abundance of MOLEX connectors, I have like 5 spare.

You can do a better job without a modular PSU, not sure what your case offers cable management wise though.

nothing really, there is no space to route the cables under the motherboard.

Your gaming rig seems a bit unbalanced, wouldn't a better graphics card be way better than 12gb ram?

unless you use it for rendering or something?

12gb is the 8gb for triple channel, it's pretty common
12gb is the 8gb for triple channel, it's pretty common
Ah okay, but wouldn't it have been better to get 8GB dual channel?

Not for a 1366 motherboard.
