I think it's a decal, feels smooth when I touch it.

XPS630 you say? That case is sexy.
I got some custom built XPS730. I have to admit the XPS 630, 700, 710, 720, 730 cases are all a looker!
Finally installed my two 200mm red LED fans, and decided to keep the blue LED to see how it looks. I like it.

I have content for ya'll, if UPS decides to come here and deliver my package. It's like I'm the last stop on the entire route :/
Also this thing is dead silent. I can't even hear it except for a slight hum which is till unnoticable, even when gaming. Really happy with this case.

Kill my automerge will you? :argh:

I felt the same way when I was waiting got my 6870 to arrive. It arrived at my house at 7pm... Their delivery hours end at 6pm so someone was running a bit late!

I think it would look better all red, in my opinion, but I like the mix of red and blue in the fan at the top.
It does look good with all red LEDs but for some reason I like how the bottom on the grill is red and the top it blue. As for the top fan having mixed colors, I'm thinking of getting a red LED 140mm for the side panel for come color mixing there too.

I need 2 new fans so I'm going to invest in a red and a green one, so then I have 3 colours.
(I take back any previous ricer comments I have made)

I had an Antec 300 with green LEDs on the front.

It was my first PC :h:
I remember the first PC i built (i was 10 at the time) had so many lights on it that if you took a picture of it it was just a ball of blue
it had 8 blue cathodes, 6 blue LED fans, a clear acrylic case, blue LED cpu cooler, blue LED GPU cooler, blue LED fan PSU
to think i built such a catastrophe :smith:
I need some reccomendations for fans. I'll be needing, like I said, a green LED fan and a red one (120mm) but I'm not sure what to get. Coolermaster Sickleflows look quite good but apparently are incredibly noisy - what should I get? I'm looking for something cheap and quiet.

Its really awesome looking for a prebuilt. the 9800GT is not too great for games now and I would like to get a new GPU when I have money but I will need a new PSU because the one it has now is scary.
UPS decided to come rather early today!

That cooler makes your motherboard look small.
What do you plan on doing with the 4850? I always wonder what people do with spare/old parts.
[editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
And I love the look of that 4850 too.
I keep all my spare/unusable parts in a storage room in my house. Quite a lot of buildup at this point.
I'm still not sure what to do with my 4870, I can't just leave it sitting around.
I'm getting a old "gaming" pc from the IT at my mom's work and I have no idea what do with it. I'll probably post tomorrow when I get it.
[editline]13th June 2011[/editline]
All I have laying around now is my Lexa S which I'm selling, tons of SDRAM, DDR2, and DDR3 from old PCs and Macs, and an old ATI x1300.
I put the 4850 in the 6950 box incase I ever need it :v:
I put the 4850 in the 6950 box incase I ever need it :v:
Did that with my GTX275 anbd my 6870 box but I lost it :v:
also you would not believe how loud that 4850 was, just to idle at 50c, it would need 50% fan and it's really noticeable.
I should do a video of my new case and compare it to the video I have of my old one for how much noise it makes. So far there's a huge difference.

GF has the same one, reapplying the thermal paste on that thing did wonders.
Just ordered this. Needed a more storage, my 500 is almost full. I am going to make my 500 my boot drive and my 160 for random stuff. The 750 will be storage and whatever else. Great price IMO to.

Got this also, because all 3 drives will be really close, making cable management, much easier.

$53 shipped.

I had a Diamond one and it was the same way. I was going to use it for my second monitor but it was just too loud :|

I have a Sickleflow in the front of my case and to be honest it's inaudible unless you put your ear 5cm away from it.

I'm a frequent buy of old and used computer parts. What are you offering for prices? And where are you in the US?

Indiana, and the 4870 is in great condition, judging by the ebay prices I'd say around $50, but I may have a friend interested in buying it so I won't make any solid agreements at this point
