Too bad my old Zalman doesn't fit correctly on it
You can buy the support kits, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118053
You can buy the support kits, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118053
No I have everything I need to use it, but the clip system the old zalman coolers use will run into that heatsink on the left side of the socket.
how can you have so little amount of cables? all my cables are everywhere and in the way.
Cable management of course! Most "decent" cases will have holes so you can hide your cables behind your motherboard tray.
Looks exactly like my dimension 9200. Is it a black dimension 9200?
It's an XPS 420 :v:
Yours is just a upside-down ATX board his is a BTX board.
Just pointing out that when dell put a ATX in everything was upside-down, including the USB.
It's an XPS 420 :v:
funny thing is that when I took the picture goggles said that it was a XPS 420 motherboard.

It's FUCKING awkward as hell. It requires welding and cutting to a degree that when you're done, only the plastic covering the thing will identify its prior use. EVERYTHING is assbackwards in a Powermac case. They even put the Motherboard on the "door" of the case. But yes. easy to take apart, HARD to mod!

[editline]20th October 2011[/editline] and btw I did a successful mod with an mATX board w/ an AMD Athlon II 240 & ATi 4770 on my Powermac G3. Worked neatly too. God, that's ugly. No offense to your handiwork, but wow. Still don't know why you would mod one when you can buy a nice NZXT case that looks rice enough for your desires
God, that's ugly. No offense to your handiwork, but wow. Still don't know why you would mod one when you can buy a nice NZXT case that looks rice enough for your desires
I did it because that was literally the only case I had in my house at the time.
